Legion Special Action: Slash

  • Press L and the Sword Legion will float next to you with the camera zooming in.
  • Press ZR and the Sword Legion will slash vertically in front of you. Use the Left Stick to adjust the angle.
  • This slash can sever electrical connections and inflict damage.
  • Focus: Click the Right Stick to slow down time for easier aiming. Focus drains limiter energy faster.
  • Slash to Sync Attack: If your slash interrupts an enemy attack, you can perform a Sync Attack.
  • Legion Counter (Sword): You can dodge while in Slash Stance. A Perfect Dodge allows for a response of four ZRs followed by a ZL Sync.

Skills:

  • Skill: Round Sword: Activates a circle of floating swords around the Legion, damaging enemies within its radius. While individual hits are weak, the cumulative damage is significant, especially when added to the Legion's regular attacks. This skill has a 20-second cooldown. It is highly recommended.
  • Skill: Triple Sword: Sends rotating blades down the Astral Chain to you and back to the Legion. A Sync prompt appears when the blades return; pressing ZL makes them travel faster. This skill is difficult to maintain and distracts from combat. It has a 9-second cooldown. It is not recommended.

Command Skills:

  • Command Skill: Sword Assault: Flick the Left Stick away from and then towards the target, then press ZL. The Sword Legion swipes upwards, launching enemies into the air.
  • Command Skill: Sword Spin: Spin the Left Stick in a circle, then hold ZL. The Sword Legion spins while you can move it with the Right Stick. Releasing ZL finishes with a rising spin.

Special Sync Attacks:

  • The Sword Legion has numerous unique Sync Attack scenarios:
  • Ground Combo with Baton: After Sync, attack and Sync again.
  • Midair Combo with Baton: After Sync, attack and Sync again.
  • Delay Attack with any mode: After Sync, attack and Sync again.
  • Spin Attack with any mode: After Sync, attack and Sync again, then Sync again after the multi-spin.
  • Perfect Dodge: After dodging, perform a Sync Attack, then Sync again.
  • Perfect Call: After calling the Legion, perform up to four Syncs.
  • Chain Bind: After binding an enemy, perform a Sync Attack, then Sync again.
  • Somersault: After a kick, perform a Sync Attack, then Sync again.
