The world of Atomic Heart 2 is teeming with threats that possess unique elemental properties, and understanding these is key to exploiting their weaknesses and surviving their assaults. Enemies can exhibit resistances or vulnerabilities to various elemental damage types, such as fire, electricity, and frost. Applying the correct elemental damage can drastically increase your effectiveness in combat, turning a difficult encounter into a manageable one.

Your Polymer glove is your primary tool for delivering elemental damage. The Frostbite glove can freeze enemies, making them vulnerable to shattering or slowing their movements. The Electro Glove can stun and damage robotic enemies, and also has applications against organic foes. Fire damage, often delivered through specific weapon mods or abilities, is highly effective against organic enemies and can also be used to ite flammable environmental objects. Pay close attention to enemy descriptions and visual cues; glowing red often indicates a fire weakness, while crackling blue might suggest an electrical vulnerability. Conversely, some enemies might be resistant to certain elements, meaning those attacks will be less effective. Experiment with different elemental attacks and observe the damage numbers to learn which elements are most potent against specific enemy types.
