The Elite Guards are a formidable tier of humanoid adversaries, often heavily armed and armored, serving as formidable obstacles in critical areas. These individuals are not only skilled combatants but also possess enhanced resilience, making them capable of withstanding more punishment than standard human enemies. They often employ advanced weaponry, including energy-based firearms and tactical grenades, and are adept at using cover and flanking to their advantage. Engaging an Elite Guard requires a focused and strategic approach, as a direct frontal assault is rarely the most effective method.

When facing an Elite Guard, your primary objective is to exploit any openings and target their weak points. While their armor provides significant protection, look for exposed areas, such as their helmet visor or any gaps in their plating. Weapons with high damage per shot, like the Railgun or the Shotgun at close range, can be effective in staggering them and dealing critical damage. If they are using energy weapons, consider using the shield ability to block their powerful shots. Environmental hazards can also be a great equalizer; try to lure them into traps or use explosive objects to break their defenses. Patience and precise aiming are key; wait for the opportune moment to strike and don't be afraid to retreat and reposition if the situation becomes too overwhelming.
