Hey there! Ready to track down those missing cartographers for Sanza? This quest, 'Mapping the Living Lands,' sends you all over the place to find map pieces. Don't worry, I'll walk you through exactly where to find each one. You'll need to return to Sanza's shop in Paradis' Hightown to turn in the maps as you find them.

How to Start: You can kick off 'Mapping the Living Lands' by heading to Sanza's shop in Paradis' Hightown. Alternatively, you might stumble upon one of Sanza's cartographers (or what's left of them) out in the world. Just remember to bring the maps back to Sanza!

Dawnshore Cartographer

First up, let's find Giermund's map. Head south from the eastern entrance of Paradis. Keep an eye out near the eastern entrance of Paradis, and you'll spot the map right next to a corpse and some rubble. If you haven't entered Paradis through the main entrance yet, you won't be able to use this eastern entrance – it's a plot thing, you'll see why later.

Emerald Stair Cartographer

For the second map, you'll be looking for Fleccia in the Emerald Stair region. Go south from the Naku Tedek Party Camp. Head towards the southwest part of this area and go down the hill. You'll find Fleccia's map next to a potion and some crafting materials. Yep, another dead cartographer, sadly.

Shatterscarp Cartographer

Wilfrith, Sanza's third cartographer, has also gone missing. You can get a hint about this part of the quest from the 'Wilfrith's Dispatch' note on the bounty board in Thirdborn. Your destination is the southeastern coast of Shatterscarp. Look for Wilfrith to the right of the Sailor's Rest location. It's a bit of a hike south from the Sand Sea Oasis fast travel point. Follow a path that leads to a rocky pillar, and you'll find Wilfrith's map next to their corpse.

Galawain’s Tusks Cartographer

Good news! Unlike the others, Renato in Galawain's Tusks is still alive. You'll find him in the Soreena's Mercy prison, just outside Solace Keep. Head up to the second floor, and you'll see a guard watching over Renato in his cell. You can free Renato without any special checks by picking the dialogue option, 'He's learned his lesson. Let him out.' Once he's free, you can either let him go or just take his notes for Sanza. After that, head back to Dawnshore to finish up 'Mapping the Living Lands'!
