Migurd Village + Burning Highway

Migurd Village: This is a safe zone. You can save your game and heal your party for free. The camp/party menu is available but has limited options for now.

Optional Exploration: You can choose to explore the previous dungeon again to find chests and potentially complete 100% of the area.

Burning Highway Area 1: This area serves as a tutorial for combat. Key mechanics introduced include:

• Chain Attacks: Successive attacks boost damage. Chains are only interrupted by taking damage. Enemies missing or skipping their turn does not break the chain. Chains persist even when switching targets.

Chest Loot: Chests may contain permanent stat boost consumables. 'AP' scrolls are valuable early on for selling to earn significant cash, allowing for early accessory purchases and power boosts.

Regular Enemies: Most regular enemies can be defeated with basic attacks. Weaknesses are primarily relevant for bosses.

Skill Boosts: Every 3 charge bars (earned after each character's action) grants a free, instant, higher-level skill use. This can be achieved by using cheaper, faster skills. Eris's 'Quick Attack' is useful for this. Boosted skills are instant, ignoring their normal charge time, though the wait time after use remains.

Battle Speed: Use the skip button (E on keyboard, RB on controller) to speed up battles.

Difficulty: The game is on the easier side of DRPGs. Party members revive with 1 HP after battles (though without EXP/AP for that battle). Leveling up fully heals the party.

Exploration: Explore fully to find all chests. 'White arrows' often indicate shortcuts and are typically one-way initially.

Progression: After exploring Area 1, proceed to Area 2 in the SW corner.

Boss Encounter: Around X:11 Y:17, the party will detect a powerful enemy. Proceeding through the next door leads to the first boss, the Great Tortoise. A nearby shortcut allows quick return to the save point.

Strategy: This boss requires skills for offense and healing. Learn healing skills for Eris/Rudeus and offensive skills. Avoid leveling healing skills beyond level 1-2 early on due to increased costs, but offensive skill levels are fine.

Defensive Stance: The boss can enter a defensive stance, healing itself significantly. Do not use skills during this time; instead, heal or build chain. This stance becomes more frequent below 50% HP. Time your attacks to finish the boss before it can heal excessively.

Boost System: Abuse the boost system for emergency healing and casting expensive skills, allowing access to almost any skill every 3 turns, even without sufficient SP.

Progression: The ultimate goal is the next area, leading to cutscenes and the city of Rikarisu.

100% Completion: You will need to revisit this area for 100% completion as the final tile is not automatically marked.
