Learn how to access the Forge, repair, recycle, and exchange weapons in blades of fire. Understand how to unlock Forge Scrolls and obtain materials.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Access the Forge by interacting with any unlocked Anvil and selecting the “Go to Forge” option. This transports you to a separate game space containing an Anvil and a Forging table. To return to the main world, interact with the Anvil in the center and select “Return to World”.
  2. 2
At any Anvil, you can choose to Repair or Recycle weapons. Recycling is generally used for unused weapons or those you are unhappy with after forging.
  3. 3
Midway through Chapter 1, you will unlock an NPC (non-player character — anyone the game controls, not you) who trades materials for weapons based on their rarity and your usage. This exchange is often more beneficial than recycling for weapons that have gained fame.
  4. 4
To repair a weapon, interact with an Anvil, select “Repair”, and ensure you have the required materials and at least one Star. Repairing becomes more crucial later in the game with favored weapons.
  5. 5
Forge Scrolls are required to craft weapons. You unlock them by defeating specific enemy types a set number of times. After defeating an enemy, the Forge Scroll menu updates with the requirement. There are seven weapon types: Daggers, Twins, Sabers, Swords, Greatswords, Polearms, and Spears. Each type has five weapons, and each weapon has at least 3 attachments.
  6. 6
Throughout the game, you will find Seneschals, which are statues displaying a weapon type. Equip the same weapon type and interact with the statue to unlock a part for that weapon. These are often hidden. If you do not have the required weapon equipped, the Seneschal will appear on the map until activated and then disappear. You cannot use a Seneschal if all parts for a weapon are already unlocked.
  7. 7
Materials are obtained by defeating enemies or breaking destructible objects like barrels, crates, and wooden chests. Hovering over the map reveals common materials for each location. Alternatively, you can exchange famed weapons with the NPC or use the Recycle option.
  8. 8
To reshape a weapon, select the weapon, parts, and materials. On the Reshaping Weapon screen, align the bars on the drawn line by using Strike Strength (press or / to control hit force), Tilt Strike (tilt stick left or press / to aim left/right), and Strike Width (tilt stick up/down or press / to adjust width). Preview heating (press or ) shows gains or losses. Better alignment yields more Stars and repairs.
Tips
  • Exchange weapons with fame at the NPC for better material returns.
  • Use Recycle only on unused or unsatisfactory forged weapons.
  • Repairing is important for favored weapons later in the game.
  • Explore thoroughly to find hidden Seneschals.
  • Check the map for common material locations to efficiently farm resources.
  • Master the reshaping tools to maximize Stars and repairs on your crafted weapons.
