Learn the ins and outs of Regular Team Death Match (RTDM) and Mercenary modes in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Master gameplay, strategies, and loadouts for victory.

The most basic mode of play in the COD online universe is the Regular Team Death Match (RTDM). You hopefully line up 5 on 5, and fight to kill the other team's players more than they kill yours. RTDMs and Mercenary modes have the same game parameters in terms of Health Points and such. The difference comes in that in Mercenary mode you are not allowed to play as a party even though allies may join up on your game and end up playing on your team.

Walkthrough:

  1. Objective: Outscore the enemy team in kills.
  2. Game End Conditions: Either the 10:00 minute time limit expires or one team reaches 7,500 points (equivalent to 75 kills).
  3. Scoring: Earn 100 points per kill and assist points ranging from 10 to 90 based on damage dealt.
  4. Challenges & Contracts: Multiple challenges and contracts can be completed within this mode.

  7. Recommended Strategy: Engage enemies at range and control their movement.
  8. Loadout Recommendations:
    • Recon: Prioritize motion sensors over claymores/C4. Deploy sensors strategically, especially when not actively relocating.
    • Weapons: Use suppressors on most weapons. Consider Dual Mags for primaries.
    • Primary Weapon: Galil or AK-47 with suppressor.
    • Secondary Weapon: Dual wield pistol of choice.
    • Perk 1: Ghost or Ghost Pro.
    • Perk 2: Sleight of Hand or Warlord Pro.
    • Perk 3: Hacker Pro.
    • Kill Streaks: Basic KSR grouping (Spy Plane, Care Package, Helicopter) is recommended for consistency. Achieving higher streaks like dogs can be difficult due to spawn systems and required movement.
  9. Map Control: On mid to larger maps, occupy a quadrant and consider it your
