Alright, let's talk about the Chateau map in Call of Duty: World at War. It's a pretty cool-looking place, right? You'll find yourself inside this chateau, and there's even a bedroom with this giant Nazi bedsheet – kinda wild to look at, even if the whole Nazi thing is obviously terrible.

When you first jump into Chateau, you might expect it to be like some spooky, Return to Castle Wolfenstein-style haunted mansion filled with Nazis. It's not quite like that, but that doesn't mean it's not intense!

If you're playing as the British, your main goal is just to find a way inside. Sometimes, you can actually just waltz right through the front door, especially if you're playing against experienced players. They won't expect you to be that bold, so you can really catch them off guard. I've actually gotten my highest kill count on this map – 97 kills with only 13 deaths in about 35 minutes!

Pro Tip: On these Russian maps in general, the weapon balance is pretty solid. While the Germans have the MP44, the Russians get the PPSH. I usually like to stick with rifles here; you can pick off those PPSH guys from a distance and even snag their weapon. If you're up close against a PPSH, the MP40 is a decent counter. It only has 32 bullets per clip compared to the PPSH's 71, but it lets you move fast and hits a bit harder.
