Alright, let's talk about staying on defense in Call of Duty: World at War. This is crucial, especially in modes where you've got objectives to protect. First off, always keep an eye on what the objectives need. Don't just wander off! You'll want to be using a heavy weapon for this; they're great for holding down areas and suppressing the enemy. The biggest thing is to avoid getting flanked. Seriously, don't let them sneak up on you from the sides or behind. Work with your squad – no single player can cover every objective if there's more than one. Focus on your assigned job and do it well.

A smart move is to guard the enemy base, especially if they're trying to push with objectives. This can shut down their advances before they even get close. Sniper rifles are also super effective here. If your team isn't packed with snipers, consider picking one up yourself. You can rack up a good number of kills and really help control the map from a distance.

Levels Overview:

Just so you know, there are 12 levels in the game. I'll cover each one, but I won't be including maps directly. You can check out maps by going into a server and looking in the options menu. For Headquarters (HQ) mode, just refer to the HQ strategy section; the maps there don't offer much unique strategy because HQ gameplay is pretty consistent across all levels.
