If you position yourself right, you can break the wood and take out the enemies near it at the same time. Once they're dealt with, move to the next room on the left.

The path now goes upwards. You'll encounter more enemies, including some armored ones. Your best bet here is to use the vents to stay hidden and line up your attacks. If you take some damage, don't worry – there's a group of humans near the end of the room you can consume to regain health. After that, break the wooden obstacle and continue upwards.

You'll find yourself back in a room you've been in before. This door leads to the Military Junkyard. Head downwards, and you'll return to the area where you triggered that flashback sequence earlier.

Now, make your way southeast. You'll need to break another wooden barrier to open the path back to the Uranium Mines. Once you've done that, head back and squeeze through to reach the Military Junkyard.

Tips

Always try to use the environment to your advantage. Breaking wooden obstacles near enemies can save you a lot of health and ammo.
Don't forget to consume humans when you need to heal; they're conveniently placed near objectives sometimes.
Pay attention to the pathing; sometimes backtracking is necessary to progress.
