Walkthrough
  1. 1
Head left from the start and defeat the Persephones.
  2. 2
In the next room, Genya Arikado will give you Mina's Talisman. Continue left.
  3. 3
In the large room, drop down the chandeliers to a room on the right containing a save point.
  4. 4
Continue to the bottom, defeat the Ghost Dancers and the Devil. Head right.
  5. 5
In the next room, kill the Persephone, grab the money, and return to the save point.
  6. 6
Head left from the save point, defeating the Lilith (beware her MP-draining kiss).
  7. 7
When you reach a hole, drop down and take the left door.
  8. 8
Go left, defeating enemies until you reach the far left side of the room where a puzzle awaits.
  9. 9
Puzzle Room: Touch tiles to move them and chart a path to the following rooms: Room 1 (Cestus), Room 5 (Cutall), Room 8 (Turquoise Stud), Room 9 (Justaucorps), Room 12 (Great Sword). Find the exit in the top right corner for Ring Mail. For 100% map coverage, visit all 16 rooms. After solving, reset and follow the path.
  10. 10
Proceed through the door and follow the path to the top.
  11. 11
In the room with Killer Dolls (they curse you if touched), be careful as you ascend.
  12. 12
The next room has a Killer Clown. Defeat him and try to obtain his soul.
  13. 13
Continue through the room and take the top left door.
  14. 14
Cross the piano (its function is unknown) and proceed to the next room.
  15. 15
Bone Pillar Room: Knock down all but five Bone Pillars in the first column, then double jump onto them. Kill some Bone Pillars in the next column, leaving two or three higher than you. Repeat this process to ascend. Jump between columns to find a hole. Create an ice stairway to reach the top, where War Fatigues are located (top right has UMA News 2-4).
  16. 16
Backtrack to the room before the piano room and take the top right door.
  17. 17
Defeat the Buer (flaming wheel) and take the top right door.
  18. 18
In the next room, quickly drop down to grab the High Potion, then return to the previous room.
  19. 19
Defeat the Skelerang. Take the top left door.
  20. 20
In the next room, run left, defeat the Killer Clown, and enter the warp room in the left room.
  21. 21
Take either the top left or top right exit. Ascend the shaft and enter the next room.
  22. 22
Navigate the chaotic room with Quetzalcoatls, Buers, and Killer Clowns. In the top right is a room with three Killer Dolls and Uma News 2-2. The top left has the Magic Seal 3.
  23. 23
Exit through the top right of the room. Use the save point to the right, then enter the boss door.

Boss Fight: Puppet Master

  • Stats / Weaknesses: Not specified.
  • Phases: The boss has three main attacks.
  • Strategy:
    • The Puppet Master summons miniature ghosts (kill them off).
    • He summons a monster to hold in his hand. Destroy this monster (takes two hits) to avoid being switched into spiked coffins. Blue sparks indicate summoning.
    • The Mandragora soul is effective for damaging the Puppet Master and destroying the summoned marionettes.
    • Use the Doppleganger soul: equip Knife to B attack, and when the monster is summoned, use two quick jabs to defeat it. Switch back to set A afterward.
    • The primary danger is being switched into a coffin.
  • Defeating the Puppet Master yields his soul and an orb. The Puppet Master soul allows Soma to throw a puppet and switch places with it, enabling access to small crevices.
Tips
  • Lilith's kiss curses you, draining all MP.
  • Killer Dolls curse you if touched.
  • The function of the piano in one room is unknown.
  • The blank square in the puzzle room is a free space allowing movement in all four directions.
