Subterranean Hell (4)

From the waterfall room, head back and drop to the very bottom.

Go left to find a Devil (an enemy type). Kill it, then jump left.

Head right. You can snag the Mushroom (an item) on the ledge above you.

Continue through the door to the right.

In this new room, hop onto the ledge. Defeat the Dead Pirates (an enemy type).

Go through the door.

Equip the Zephyr soul (a magical ability) before entering the next room.

In the next room, you will see a cannon that fires a cannonball. It will shoot one pillar but stop short of the second.

The second pillar has a rabbit with a clock, known as the Chronomage (an enemy type).

When you activate the Chronomage while the Zephyr soul is equipped, time will reactivate, and the cannonball will blast the second pillar, allowing you to proceed.
