Garden of Madness

In the first room, defeat the Une by attacking it directly and the Skelerang by dodging its boomerang attacks.

A save point (a place to record your progress) is located halfway up the room; use it before climbing to the top and heading left.

In the next room, dodge the kicks of the large Treant enemy and attack it to defeat it.

After defeating the Treant, collect the Magic Seal 2.

Proceed to the next room and take the first left to activate the warp room (a fast travel point).

Continue up through the previous room, where you will encounter a Corpseweed, which is a larger version of the Une with a sprouting head.

In the following room, head right and use the junk as stepping stones to reach the ledge and collect the Breastplate.

Hop to the next ledge and then up again to find a Skeleton Ape, which wields a barrel. Defeat it, jumping over the barrel like in Mario if necessary.

Proceed to the next room and defeat the Cateoblepas, which uses stone breath. It is advisable to attack from the doorway, potentially using an Axe or a weapon that attacks in an arc.

Hop to the top of the room and go right.

In the subsequent room, immediately dodge the barrel thrown by a Skeleton Ape upon entry, defeat it, and hop to the next ledge.

Break the lantern to obtain the Doppelganger soul.

The Doppelganger soul allows you to alternate between sets of equipment and souls by pressing X in the Equipment menu, indicated by an A and B heading. This is useful for creating specialized sets, such as a short-range and a long-range set, or a defensive set.

In this same room, you can acquire a Skeleton Farmer soul at the bottom, which enhances plant souls, and a Mandragora soul. Combining these in a soul set can result in massive damage.

To get the Skeleton Farmer and Mandragora souls, drop to the bottom of the screen. The Skeleton Farmer throws five seeds: four Unes and one Mandragora. Be within range of the Mandragora when it emerges from the ground to trigger its damaging explosion, but avoid the Unes. The background can affect the direction of its throws.

Return to the previous room. To obtain money and a weapon, climb to the top of the shaft and head left.

Navigate through this room, defeating the Rycuda, a weak bird that shoots lightning, and collect its soul.

Drop through the floor, defeat the Catoblepas, and go left to find a treasure chest containing money. Collect the Fleuret from the ledge.

Return to the shaft and go through the top right door, cross the next room to the top right door, and proceed through it.

Pass through the shaft, exiting at the bottom.

Dodge the Skeleton Ape's barrel, drop to the bottom of the room, go right, and drop through the floor.

Descend through this room until you reach a gold door marked 777.

To enter the 777 door, your money value must end in 777. Break the light outside the door to get money, drop through the floor, and repeat this process until you reach the required amount. Blue lights yield $1, brown lights yield $10, and grey lights yield $50.

Enter the room and collect the Three 7s armor.

Backtrack to the large room, go all the way right, and proceed to the next area.
