Walkthrough
  1. 1
Upon entering The Lost Village, you'll encounter Skeletons and Bats. Bats spawn infinitely, making them a good source for souls. Skeletons also drop souls (Skelesouls).
  2. 2
Cross the suspension bridge to the next screen.
  3. 3
Destroy the lamp on the right for an item. Continue and defeat the large Peeping Eye.
  4. 4
In the next room, pick up the Short Sword and equip it.
  5. 5
Drop down, head right to grab a Potion, and proceed to the next room to save your game. These save rooms also heal you.
  6. 6
Climb back up the platforms, ignoring the door to the left for now, and head right.
  7. 7
In the next room, you'll face a Warg (defeat with three quick sword swipes), unlimited Zombies, and an Axe Armor. The Axe Armor throws axes at high or low elevations; duck under high axes and jump over low ones. Obtaining the Axe Armor soul is highly recommended.
  8. 8
Head to the next room where you meet Yoko and Julius. After an exchange, you receive the Magic Seal 1.
  9. 9
Backtrack the way you came, defeating Zombies. When you reach the screen where you found the Short Sword, drop down to the previously ignored door.
  10. 10
Yoko will explain that a Magic Seal is needed for the upcoming monster. Enter the door to face the boss.
  11. 11
After defeating the boss, you'll need to quickly draw the magic seal with your stylus.
  12. 12
After the boss fight, collect the Flying Armor soul, which reduces falling speed.
  13. 13
Replenish HP/MP with the oversized orb. Save your game in the room two screens to the right.
  14. 14
Return to the boss room and enter the left door.
  15. 15
Drop down one step and jump to the platform on the left using the Flying Armor soul. Grab the Claymore.
  16. 16
Head to the next room and hop left to grab the Spear.
  17. 17
Drop to the platform to your right and fall through it. Defeat the Armor Knight to your left and enter the next area.

Boss: Flying Armor

  • Stats / Weaknesses: The Flying Armor is a floating creature with two hovering swords that act as a barrier. Its swords flash before attacking.
  • Phases:
    1. When swords face you and flash, they lock and fire straight. Avoid their path.
    2. When swords point diagonally up and flash, they circle to squish you. Jump over them.
    3. The boss is defenseless when swords are not attacking.
  • Strategy:
    • If you don't have the Axe Armor soul, attack the boss when it's defenseless.
    • If you have the Axe Armor soul, use it to attack from a distance, hopping slightly to avoid attacks. Each axe hit deals significant damage and can hit multiple times.
    • Use a Potion if your HP falls below a critical level.
    • Remember to draw the magic seal quickly after defeating the boss.
Tips
  • Destroy all lamps, candles, and enemies you encounter throughout the game for items.
  • The Bats and Skeletons in the first area are good for practicing soul collection, but don't spend too much time.
  • Save frequently, as save rooms also heal you.
  • The Armor Knight soul can be useful against the Axe Armor.
  • The Warg soul is also useful if properly utilized.
  • The Axe Armor soul is highly recommended for the Flying Armor boss fight.
  • Have your stylus ready for the magic seal drawing after the boss fight.
  • The Claymore is generally considered better than the Spear.
  • Flying Armor soul (reduces falling speed)
  • Claymore
  • Spear
