Walkthrough

    Head up the road and forward through the intersection, retracing your steps.

    Take a right at the Off Limits sign, then a left.

    Head up the ramp and follow the road as it curves right, exiting through the gates.

    You will see a watchtower (a tall structure built by an NPC (non-player character — anyone the game controls, not you)) on your right. You can use it to place a ladder.

    Head off the road into the rocks and grass outside the city, heading generally towards the ladder you pinged from the watchtower or the river.

    Once you reach the river, follow it upstream.

    Cross the river using one of the two ladders left behind by an NPC named Igor.

    Continue following the river upstream until you reach a second ladder-bridge.

    Ahead and to your left, you will see climbing anchors and more ladders. You can use the set on your left (more southern) or the set on your right (more northern). This guide assumes you use the set on the right.

    Head right and up the slope to the first ladder. Climb it, then go left to cross the ladder over the ravine.

    Grab the rope at the end of the ladder and climb to the top of the cliff.

    At the top, move forward over the crest of the mountain, keeping the peak to your left.

    Head down the slope towards the building (the incinerator).
Tips
  • Corpses sway a lot. You will need to constantly shift your weight or brace the backpack with both hands to maintain balance. Take this slow and steady.
  • If you run low on stamina, press the left D-Pad button to bring up the Items menu. Select the canteen to drink a Monster energy drink. Timefall will slowly fill the canteen, and standing in a river will fill it quickly.
  • You can use the Items menu to eat cryptobiotes if you lose health from falling.
  • Tall grass clumps can be used to hide from enemies, provided your packages are not stacked too high.
  • Warning: As you approach the incinerator, you will enter a BT area, indicated by floating objects in the air.
  • Warning: The game will prompt you to save. Open your cuff link (Options button), navigate to the System menu, and save. You can only have one manual save at a time. This is a good idea as the last auto-save was at the beginning of the mission.
