    Begin by fighting Shadow. He uses melee attacks, including a two-hit combo that can be followed by a launcher or sweep. If launched, he'll use a buzzsaw attack. Watch out for his triple biting attack, which tracks you. You can sometimes put Shadow into a stalemate state by dealing enough damage.

Tips
  • During the multi-familiar boss fight, Nightmare's health bar only decreases when attacking him directly. Shadow and Griffin do not contribute to it.
  • When Nightmare retreats, focus on damaging Shadow and Griffin.
  • Nightmare can revive Shadow and Griffin by charging up and placing his fists on the ground.
  • Nightmare's attacks include melee strikes, laser explosions, spinning with arms outstretched, and a ground smash. These are generally easy to dodge.
  • Consider using Trickster style for quick dashes if needed.
  • Defeating Shadow or Griffin (depleting their health) can bring back Nightmare when he escapes, providing an opportunity to focus solely on him.
