Main Mission 3

As Nero, you'll learn about Grim Grip points. Use them on platforms with red flames (when no enemies are present) to create airborne points. Lock on with R1/RB and press Circle/B to pull yourself to new areas.

Use the first Grim Grip point to reach a rooftop and face three Pyrobats.

Launch to the next rooftop using another Grim Grip point. Collect Red Orbs near an air conditioner.

Jump to a higher part of the roof, then down to find a Blue Orb Fragment between air conditioners.

Return to the first landing side and use the Grim Grip point to reach the next building.

Upon landing, Hell Cainas and Pyrobats will spawn. Prioritize Pyrobats due to their projectiles, then defeat the Hell Cainas.

Drop to the floor below on one side to find Red Orbs and a Gold Orb.

Return topside and proceed to the next roof. You'll see two platforms with flames. Take the first one, which leads further into the mission; avoid the second, which returns you to a previous rooftop.

Reach the next rooftop. A scene will highlight a sewer tunnel.

Search the current building for Red Orbs on dirt.

Approach the Red Orbs, triggering a tutorial on revealing Grim Grip points by attacking specific spots.

After collecting Red Orbs, go to the rooftop edge, lock onto a floating object, shoot it, and then latch on to reach the rooftop above.

Defeat a Red Empusa, which will cause two more to spawn. Quickly defeat one to reach the other.

Use the next platform with flames to reach a building with many Red Orbs. Attack it to collect the spilling Red Orbs.

Use the Grim Grip point to return to the area where you attacked the Grim Grip point.

Continue on the main path to another rooftop where tentacles emerge from the ground. Destroy them and any clusters on their back.

Collect a Gold Orb found in the open.

At the end of this section, launch yourself into the sewer tunnels.

Follow the tunnel until you learn about demon tree blood clots. Destroying them yields Red Orbs and can open new paths.

Ignore the first blood clot for now and go to the tunnel's end for Red Orbs.

Return and destroy the first blood clot to open a new path.

Enter the next tunnel, where Empusa and demon tree tentacles will spawn. Defeat them.

Continue down the tunnel. You'll reach a second blood clot. Destroying it removes some, but not all, of the roots blocking the path.

More demons, including Hell Caina, will appear after destroying the second blood clot.

Proceed to the end of the tunnel to find Red Orbs.

Notice an odd section of the wall; break it to collect more Red Orbs.

As you backtrack, Pyrobats and Hell Caina will appear. Defeat them.

Head through the nearby doorway to find a third blood clot. Destroying it spawns Hell Antenoras, Hell Cainas, and a Green Empusa.

Prioritize defeating the Green Empusa, then the Antenora, and finally the Caina. Utilize an explosive canister near the spawn point to thin enemy numbers.

After the battle, you can take a small doorway or backtrack to the previous tunnel where the roots are now gone. Take the exit with the green sign.

This leads to a large stairwell. Drop to the bottom and look up to find the writing and circle indicating a Secret Mission. Stand in the doorway to activate it.

The goal of Secret Mission 2 is to defeat all Red Empusa without any escaping. One will spawn initially, followed by two more shortly after.
