Walkthrough

    Start in a small enclosure. Grab the Backpack and Super Shotgun.

    Flip the demon-head switch in front of you. This lowers the surrounding walls, revealing several Mancubus in an open area.

    To fight the Mancubi, quickly strafe left towards the pillars for cover. Use your Super Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, or Plasma Gun to attack them from cover. There are three on the ground and more on raised ledges.

    As you move around the area, collect ammo pickups and Partial Invisibility Orbs.

    Locate switches on the walls. Flipping each switch lowers a platform in the central area, revealing items such as a Chaingun, Rocket Launcher, Plasma Gun, and a Megasphere. It's recommended to save the Megasphere for after all monsters are defeated to maximize health and armor. A Berserk Pack is also on the ground in the central area, but its use is limited against these enemies.

    After all Mancubi are defeated, some walls lower, granting access to the outer area. Here, you will encounter Arachnotrons, which fire plasma projectiles.

    Use the same weapons as before to engage the Arachnotrons from a safe distance. Explore the outer area for Medikits and ammo.

    When all Mancubi and Arachnotrons are dead, a step will rise around the central platform, making it accessible. This step is SECRET 1/1, meaning it's impossible to finish the level without finding it.

    Collect any remaining ammo and health items.

    Head to the exit pillar and flip any of the eyeball switches on its sides to complete the level.
Tips
  • Mancubi are new enemies. Normally, fight them with a Plasma Gun while strafing. In this arena, use pillars for cover and attack from a distance.
  • Partial Invisibility Orbs can help offset Mancubus fireballs from long distances.
  • Try to save the Megasphere for after all monsters are dead to finish the level with 200% health and armor.
  • Arachnotrons are like miniature Spiderdemons that fire plasma. Their projectiles can be dodged, unlike the Spider Mastermind's hit-scan attacks.
  • The Berserk Pack is not very useful in this level due to the dangerous enemies.
