While leveling up is the primary method for increasing your characters' stats in Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, certain rare items offer permanent boosts, allowing for further customization and optimization of your party. These are known as Stat-Boosting Seeds. The most common of these is the Seed of Strength, which permanently increases a character's Strength by a small amount. This is particularly useful for physical attackers like Kiefer, helping them deal more damage with their weapon attacks. For increasing a character's Agility, which affects turn order and evasion, the Seed of Agility is the item to seek. A higher Agility can mean the difference between landing a critical hit and being hit yourself. The Seed of Life provides a permanent boost to a character's maximum HP, making them more resilient and able to withstand more punishment. This is invaluable for any character, but especially for those on the front lines. Finally, for those who rely on magical prowess, the Seed of Intelligence offers a permanent increase to a character's Intelligence, enhancing the potency of their spells. These seeds are exceptionally rare and are typically found in hidden treasure chests, as rewards for completing difficult quests, or occasionally dropped by very powerful monsters. exercise caution when using these items; it's often best to save them for characters you intend to heavily invest in or for specific builds.
