How to Beat Crystal Weaver

The Crystal Weaver is a grotesque, spider-like Blighted creature that has fused with the crystalline structures of the Crystalline Caves. This boss fight takes place in a large, circular arena with numerous crystal pillars.

Attack Patterns:

• Crystal Shard Volley: The Weaver fires a barrage of sharp crystal shards.
• Web Trap: Shoots sticky crystal webs that can trap Lily, leaving her vulnerable.
• Crystal Beam: Charges and fires a powerful, continuous crystal beam.
• Summon Crystal Spiders: At various health thresholds, it summons smaller crystal spiders to assist it.
• Crystal Barrier (Phase 2): At around 50% health, it periodically encases itself in a crystal barrier, becoming immune to damage.

Phases:

The Crystal Weaver has two phases. Phase 1 focuses on its direct attacks and summoning. Phase 2 (below 50% health) introduces the Crystal Barrier mechanic and increases the frequency of its other abilities.

Weaknesses:

Its head and abdomen are the primary weak points. Consistent hits to these areas fill its Blight Gauge. The crystal pillars in Phase 2 are also vulnerable to all damage types.

Recommended Spirits & Strategy:

• Primary Spirit: Guardian Knight. For consistent melee damage to its weak points.
• Secondary Spirit: Sentinel's Shield. Crucial for blocking Crystal Shard Volleys and the Crystal Beam.
• Optional: Crystal Shard/Blighted Archer. A ranged Spirit can be useful for hitting the Weaver when it's out of melee range or for quickly destroying crystal pillars in Phase 2.

Strategy: The arena's crystal pillars can provide cover from some attacks, but they are also destructible. For Crystal Shard Volley, use Sentinel's Shield or dodge through the gaps. Dodge the Web Trap at all costs; if caught, mash buttons to break free. The Crystal Beam can be blocked with Sentinel's Shield, but it will drain your Spirit Gauge quickly, so consider dodging if possible. When it Summons Crystal Spiders, prioritize defeating them quickly to avoid being overwhelmed. In Phase 2, when it creates a Crystal Barrier, immediately switch focus to destroying the surrounding crystal pillars. Spirits with area-of-effect attacks or rapid-fire capabilities are excellent for this. The Blight Gauge fills as you damage its main body. When stunned, unleash your most powerful Spirit attacks. This fight requires good spatial awareness, quick target switching, and effective use of your defensive Spirits. Upon its defeat, purify its essence to gain the Crystal Shard Spirit, a powerful ranged option.
