How to Beat Corrupted Sentinel

Learn Corrupted Sentinel boss tactics in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist. Dodge its Overhead Slam and Horizontal Sweep to overcome the first major boss.

The Corrupted Sentinel is your first major boss. It's a large, heavily armored Blighted warrior. Its attacks are slow but powerful. Focus on learning its attack patterns:

• Overhead Slam: The Sentinel raises its weapon high and slams it down. Dodge to the side just before impact.
• Horizontal Sweep: A wide, sweeping attack. Dodge through it or jump over it if you're far enough.
• Shield Bash: If you get too close, it might quickly bash you with its shield. This is a fast attack, so be ready to dodge.
• Blight Pulse: At around 50% health, it will occasionally emit a small pulse of Blight around itself, dealing minor damage. Keep your distance during this.

Strategy: The key to defeating the Corrupted Sentinel is patience and precise dodging. Use your Guardian Knight to attack after the Sentinel completes an attack animation. Get 2-3 hits in, then prepare to dodge its next move. Don't get greedy. When its Blight Gauge (top right) fills, it will be stunned briefly, allowing for a flurry of attacks. Repeat this process until its health is depleted. Upon its defeat, purify its essence to gain the Sentinel's Shield Spirit, a defensive ally that can block incoming projectiles and create a temporary barrier. This Spirit will be invaluable for future encounters.
