Welcome to the Magicite Mine! This area is more linear than the Crimson Forest. Follow the path left, then down. Continue left to find a Relic - Helix Crystal. Return to the hole and go down. Take the left path to find an NPC and Findings - Writing Etched Into the Wall. Return to the fork and go right to find a Respite.
After healing, drop down and head left. Before sliding down, jump left and dash to a ledge to find Materials x140. Drop down and go right to find an item that will be accessible after the boss fight. Climb the platforms above to find a Charmed Fragment in the upper right. Drop down and go left.
In this larger room, follow the upper path to the left to find a Charmed Fragment. Drop down and head left. Go to the very bottom of the vertical shaft, kill enemies, and find a hidden zone on the right. Go through to find Materials x160. Return to the previous room and go left. In the circular room, head to the left-most side to find a chest with Relic - Tarnished Tag.
Return to the previous room, take the center lift up, and enter the next room to the left for a Respite. After the scene and receiving the homunculus Muninn, heal and save. Proceed left to the next room. Go up, avoiding dynamite enemies. In the next room, follow the upper path right, defeat machine enemies, and find a blocked area. Go all the way right and take the path to the right to fight the mini-boss.
MINI BOSS FIGHT: SQUAD LEADER, MINING UNIT 1
After the fight, you'll receive an Experimental Amplifier. Flip the lever to raise the wall. Return to the previous room, take the lift up, and jump left to grab Findings - Notification of Restricted Areas.
Go right to find a hidden zone in the upper right corner containing Materials x130. Go down and continue right to find a chest with Upgrade - Grimoire. Flip the lever to open the way back to the entrance. Return to the room with the large lift and proceed left.
In the next room, go through the enemies to find a Respite. Save your game and proceed left for the boss fight.
