Learn about the Zodiac's skills in Etrian Odyssey Nexus, including Etheric Gleam, Fire Star, and Etheric Charge. Highest INT growth.
Walkthrough
- 1Level up the three elemental star skills (Fire Star, Ice Star, Volt Star) to level 4.
- 2Raise Etheric Gleam to level 3.
- 3Invest in Etheric Charge and Singularity.
- 4Learn Etheric Return if you have spare skill points (SP).
Tips
- Prioritize leveling passive and charge skills over the elemental star skills initially.
- Etheric Charge multiplies the next turn's Astrology skill damage by 3, but it can only target one enemy. At level 3, it provides a 2.0x multiplier.
- Etheric Charge does not boost the Force Break skill, Astrosign.
- Etheric Gleam (Max Lv Effect: Increases elemental ATK by 35% for 6 turns) powers up Astrosign's damage output.
- Singularity (Max Lv Effect: Increases damage by 20% when attacking enemy’s weakness) is a passive skill.
- Etheric Return (Max Lv Effect: Recovers TP when the user kills an enemy) is a passive heal.
- Mine (Max Lv Effect: Has a chance to obtain rare material at any mining point) and Horoscope (Max Lv Effect: Decreases encounter rates by 75% for 255 steps) are field skills.
- Do not level individual star skills beyond level 3 initially, as the gain is not significant.
- Etheric Charge at level 5 is recommended by one contributor.
- If you have other buffers like Sovereign, prioritize Singularity. If not, Etheric Gleam may be a better deal.
- Etheric Return may not be worth it depending on party composition.
- Basic Stars, except for Fire Star, have high Action Speed Modifiers, making them better at softening targets than cleaning up.
- Volt Star and Fire Star are prioritized for early game use. Volt Star requires more investment than Fire Star due to its lower Base Damage Modifier (80% vs 100%).
- Zodiac has the highest INT growth (S) but very poor HP and VIT growth (E-).
- Possible equipment includes Staff and Clothes.
