Walkthrough
  1. 1
Follow the path and open the door on your right in C3 to find a patrolling Furyfawn FOE.
  2. 2
Move clockwise to find a chest with the Smart Earring (INT +6, TP +15) and a taking point with Forest Aloe, Small Flower, and Culantro.
  3. 3
To proceed north, use the one-way shortcut in C4 or the door in C5, then open the door on your left.
  4. 4
Another Furyfawn FOE moves counterclockwise; move in the same direction to find another taking point and a chest with Ariadne Thread.
  5. 5
Go east through the door in B5 and head south to find a chest in D5 containing 300 en.
  6. 6
Backtrack, go through a crevice, and walk to the entrance to complete the main objective.

Optional Objective: Furyhorn Boss Fight

  1. Defeating the two Furyfawn FOEs in the area will trigger the appearance of the boss, Furyhorn.
  2. Furyhorn will chase you, moving two squares for every one of yours, and can jump over water but not through doors or shortcuts.
  3. The soldier you met earlier will be found dead west of the initial soldier meeting point.
  4. Use an Ariadne Thread to safely return to town; Furyhorn will wait in the northern area upon your return.

Furyhorn Boss Details:

  • Furyhorn: HP 2,506, EXP 900, Loot: Deer Hide. Skills: Muddle Roar (head), Stomp (legs), Reinforcement (innate), Deer Outrage (legs), Horned Hurl (head). Weaknesses: Volt, Curse, Blind, Leg Bind. Resists: Stun, Instant Death.
  • Duteous Fawn: HP 152, Loot: None. Skills: Stomp (legs). Weaknesses: Volt, Stun, Petrification, Curse, Sleep, Panic, Paralysis, Poison, Blind, All binds. Resists: Instant Death.

Furyhorn Strategy:

  • Furyhorn starts with Muddle Roar (inflicts Panic) and repeats it every four turns.
  • Other attacks include normal attacks and Stomp. After 30% HP loss, Horned Hurl is added.
  • Furyhorn summons Duteous Fawns after reaching HP thresholds, starting with one, then up to four.
  • With Duteous Fawns present, Furyhorn can use Deer Outrage, dealing heavy damage to all party members.
  • Stock Theriaca Bs to cure Panic. These can be bought after selling Small Flower, a taking material from Lush Woodlands B1F.
  • War Magus, Shogun, and Landsknecht Force Breaks can negate ailments once.
  • Furyhorn is weak to Volt. Recommended Volt skills include Sovereign's Shock Arms, Zodiac's Volt Star, Shogun's Bolt Slash, and Landsknecht's Electric Link.
  • If you have reached B3F, the Owl Staff's Volt Strike is also effective (buyable after selling Ghost Owl's conditional loot).
  • It is not recommended to kill the first-summoned Duteous Fawn, as Furyhorn will summon more. Avoid row or all-target skills to keep Duteous Fawns alive. Killing a Duteous Fawn on its ready turn is possible, but with multiple present, it's unclear which aids Furyhorn in Deer Outrage.
