• Destroyed Spawners (10% Contribution): While destroying nests reduces local Biter populations, it also contributes to the Evolution Factor. This creates a strategic dilemma: clear out nearby nests for breathing room, but know that doing so makes the remaining Biters stronger.

• Placement: Place Laser Turrets in dense clusters behind walls. Their range allows them to cover a wide area, and their instant hitscan nature means no missed shots.
• Power Requirements: Each Laser Turret consumes a substantial amount of electricity (initially 800kW when firing, 10kW idle). A large defensive perimeter can easily drain your power grid. Ensure you have a robust power infrastructure (e.g., more steam engines, solar panels, or nuclear reactors) to support them. Brownouts will render your laser defenses useless.
