Complete Fallout 76's 'I Am Become Death' chapter by launching a nuclear missile. Learn how to find keycards and launch codes.
Walkthrough
- 1Head to the Whitespring Bunker.
- 2Proceed to the Military Wing.
- 3Turn right and go through the laser grid marked 'Command'.
- 4Go upstairs.
- 5Upon going upstairs, you will receive a new objective: Complete All The Nuclear Training Tutorials. Use each of the four Terminals to learn how to fire a nuke.
- 6Find a Nuclear Keycard by tracking down a Vertibot (also referred to as 'Cargobots') somewhere in Appalachia. The Surveillance System Terminals in the Bunker can help locate them.
- 7Shoot down the Vertibot.
- 8Loot the Supply Box for the Nuclear Keycard. It is recommended to find several Nuclear Keycards, as an incorrect Launch Code will require a new Keycard, or you can Google the Launch Codes to get them right the first time.
- 9Find Launch Codes by locating Ghouls or Scorched Officers carrying beacons somewhere in Appalachia. These beacons beep and can be heard from a distance. The Surveillance System Terminal in the Bunker can also help locate them. You need to find eight beacons, and the codes are specific to one of three Nuclear Missile Silos. Keep in mind that the codes only last for one week before changing.
- 10Once you have looted eight officers for their Silo Codes, you need to decode them. Hints for decoding can be found on the walls in the Command Center.
- 11To decode the codes yourself, go to the back room in the Whitespring Bunker and use the Terminal.
- 12At the Terminal, access Ellen Santiago's archives and select 'The Code Pieces' entry.
- 13You should receive the Fujiniya Facility Password. Once you have the Codes, the Password, and the Keycard, head to Mama Dolce's Food Processing.
- 14At Mama Dolce's, go to the southeastern corner and drop down behind the big blue pipe.
- 15Find the hatch on the side of the pipe and climb inside.
- 16Follow inside the pipe until you reach a locked door.
- 17Use the card reader and enter the Fujiniya Intelligence Base.
- 18Follow your Quest Marker to the basement.
- 19Follow your Quest Marker to a Terminal.
- 20At the Terminal, enter the Fujiniya Facility Password.
- 21If you are having trouble, you can search Google for the Silo Codes for the week or use NukaCrypt, a community-built website, to help decrypt your codes.
- 22Once you have the decoded Launch Codes and the Nuclear Keycard(s), make your way to the correct Missile Silo. Each silo has different Launch Codes.
- 23It is highly recommended to recruit or join a group of people, as soloing this will be much more difficult.
- 24Your final objective is to 'Launch a Nuclear Missile'. To do so, you must complete Chapter 24, 'Mission: Countdown', and Chapter 25, 'The Rundown'.
