Walkthrough

    Leave the bridge and head to 2F (second floor) of Fisherman's Horizon.

    Exit to the linear metallic structure from Balamb Garden's 2F balcony.

Strategy: BGH251F2's attacks are similar to its previous encounter. Beam Cannon is weaker and can be halved by Shell. After Drawing and Mugging, defeat the boss.

  1. After the battle, talk to Rinoa, then to Dobe.
  2. Choose "I want him to understand us," then "Try to continue."
  3. Finish any remaining parts of the Master Fisherman's Quest.
  4. Head back towards Balamb Garden until Irvine joins (if he hasn't already during the quest).
  5. Go to Grease Monkey's house (near the station).
  6. Speak to the Officer, then exit and re-enter the house.
  7. Speak to the Grease Monkey to receive a Mega Phoenix.
  8. Return to Balamb Garden.

  • The Master Fisherman's Quest is missable and must be completed before proceeding too far in the Mayor's House.
  • The Occult Fan III is a unique item rewarded from the Master Fisherman's Quest and cannot be obtained any other way.
  • Ultima is an extremely powerful spell for both Junctioning and casting, found at an invisible Draw Point in the Mayor's house.
