Walkthrough

    As Jack opens a door, defend him from Wretches attacking from the hall. They will attack from the far end first, then from near Jack.

    After clearing the Wretches, head to the end of the hall where they first appeared and find Cog Tag (CT8).

    Proceed through the now-open door. Near the entrance, on the right, find an ammo box and the Hammer of Dawn (HoD). Replace your shotgun with the HoD.

    Stand in the corner between the first window and the door. Use the HoD to target and kill the Seeder before going outside.

    After the Seeder is dead, switch the HoD back for your previous weapon.

    Go outside and wait for the bridge to lower. Cross the bridge and pick off Locusts with your shotgun, or stay on your side and use the Lancer. Alternatively, equip grenades, aim for the wall opening on the other side of the bridge, and throw one to plug the hole and eliminate Locusts.

    Head right towards the giant hole the Seeder emerged from. Pick up ammo if desired and head around the "U" shape. Wait for Kim to open the next door.

    Continue north until you see a Seeder below. To your right, find an ammo box and the Hammer of Dawn. Switch your shotgun for the HoD, aim, fire twice to kill the Seeder, and switch back to your shotgun. If Wretches appear, use punches (B) or your shotgun to defeat them before using the HoD.

    Head through the door once open and take the stairs to the left. Be ready with your shotgun for two Wretches at the bottom. Find grenades on the right if needed.

    Proceed through the hallway until you pass the Seeder you just killed. Head left and through the next hallway.

    Enter the church and take cover behind the first row of seats. Use your Lancer until enemies get close, then switch to your shotgun. Defeat Wretches and Grunts.

    Head up the stairs, through the door, and down the stairs. Find Rojas's body.

    Backtrack to the stairs, facing Rojas's body, and look right. Find Cog Tag (CT9) in a small gap in the wall.

    To the left of Rojas's body, wait for Kim to open another door.

    Head through the door and up the stairs, around a statue into a room with couches. Defeat all enemies in this room.

    Look on the ground right before the exit to the outside ledge for a Hammer of Dawn. Switch your shotgun for the HoD.

    Take cover on the first short wall. Use the HoD to kill the Seeder, then switch back to your shotgun.
Tips
  • The Hammer of Dawn is the strongest weapon damage-wise but is generally not worth carrying as it's only useful for specific story progression points where one is always found nearby.
  • On Casual difficulty, teammates may eliminate most enemies, leaving only the Seeder for you.
  • On harder difficulties, focus on taking out Wretches with your shotgun before using the Hammer of Dawn on the Seeder.
  • If your health gets low, try to find cover. The right side path is generally easier.
  • On Insane difficulty, prioritize killing Wretches before engaging the Seeder.
  • When fighting in the church, use cover behind the first row of seats.
