    Act 1 Conclusion: Before the door bursts open, look left for Cog Tag CT11. Lure the Berserker through the door.

    Outside: Head left from the exit to find the last Cog Tag of Act 1, CT12.

    Berserker Fight: Target the Berserker with the Hammer of Dawn twice. Aim when it's stunned after hitting an object or standing still. Killing it concludes Act 1.

    Act 2 - Nightfall Overview: Your objective is to reach the Stranded Outpost to acquire a Junker. This chapter involves driving the Junker and ends with a large firefight. Be aware of new enemies: Boomers (heavy Locust with Boomshots) and Kryll (invincible creatures that attack in darkness). Always stay in the light; do not enter darkness, as Kryll will attack. Shoot propane tanks to progress.

    Act 2 - Tick Tick Boom:

    Start by hopping over a low wall and turning right. Find a shotgun with full ammo next to a dead body. The Hammer of Dawn is offline.

    Marcus will suggest splitting up; both paths eventually meet.

    Left Path: Head forward until you see an opening on the left. Inside a closet are grenades. Wait for a cutscene to trigger a fight with a Boomer. Use grenades and a shotgun, or Lancer from cover. After defeating the Boomers, go through the hole they created. Continue down the hallway until you see a Corpser (you don't fight it yet). Take the path left of the Emergence Hole to a large room with low walls; the exit hallway is ahead. A Locust will open a door; use your shotgun on it. In the room with rusted shelves, find grenades behind one.

    Alley Fight: To the right is an ammo box. To the left is where the fight begins. Take cover behind a small wall and aim your Lancer at the large hole in the wall to your north, targeting any appearing snipers first. Then, engage other enemies using the Lancer at range or shotgun up close. Help allies across the fence if needed.

    Inside Building: Head directly right. Two Wretches are present; use your shotgun on them. Take cover and shoot, or use the shotgun on Casual difficulty.

    This is where the left and right paths merge.

    Right Path: Roadie run down the alley. Head up the broken cement ahead. A falling pillar will give you a checkpoint. Climb over it and up the stairs. Watch the cutscene and defeat the Boomers using grenades and your Lancer.
Tips
  • Insane Mode: The Berserker fight requires three Hammer of Dawn bursts. Ensure the beam is continuous until recharge is needed for the third burst.
  • Tick Tick Boom (Left Path): If low on ammo or health, the grenades behind the rusted shelves can be useful.
  • Tick Tick Boom (General): Always prioritize eliminating snipers. Use cover effectively during firefights.
