Bash the wooden crate to clear the path, then ascend the ladder to the walkway.

Proceed along the walkway to a short hallway with a first aid station.

Run down the hallway, turn the corner, and immediately backtrack to crossbow a teleporting bullsquid. Alternatively, skip this if the first aid station is not needed.

Continue until section c2a3c loads.

After turning the next corner, ascend the steps into a room with two rows of computer banks.

Crouch-walk into the room, looking right for headcrabs and vortigaunts hiding among the computer banks.

After eliminating the initial threats, proceed to the back of the room to find and kill the last vortigaunt around the corner past the first computer bank.

Locate and eliminate the final headcrab behind the second computer bank.

Once all enemies are defeated, the scientist in the glass-walled side room will open the door.

Use the HEV station (a device that recharges your suit) and collect shotgun shells from a table.

Proceed through the door and listen to the scientist's dialogue.

Interact with the button to the right of the large B-shaped door, then enter the freezer room.

Quickly kill the vortigaunt at the far end of the freezer room with the crossbow.

Equip the assault rifle and eliminate the two headcrabs hiding behind the large pillars.

Use the crossbow to kill the vortigaunt in the short hallway connecting the two freezer rooms.

In the second freezer room, use the assault rifle to shoot the two headcrabs without alerting the vortigaunt.

Move to a position where you can sneak-shoot the vortigaunt with the crossbow.

Return to the B-shaped door in the first room and use the button panel to its left to reopen it.

Recharge your armor at the nearby HEV station.

Re-enter the freezer area and proceed to the location of the last vortigaunt.

Quickly crouch and move onto the ladder, then descend and jump off.

Go down the next ladder to reach the floor and proceed to section c2a3d.

Bash two large wooden crates to find health packs.

Turn the corner with the crossbow equipped and zoom in to shoot the two vortigaunts in the hallway ahead.

To navigate the odd floor snag, move along its right side.

When you move far enough down the center of the hallway, two more vortigaunts will teleport in. To avoid this, jump-crouch onto the barrel nearest the first wooden crate on the right side of the hallway.

From the barrel, jump-crouch onto the crate, then jump the gap to reach the top of the next crate.

Drop down to the floor past the crates. You can then bash three crates for supplies, but the vortigaunts will appear if you attempt to pick up the AR (Assault Rifle) grenades.

Head to the large lift at the end of the hallway.

Use the lift's button panel to ascend.

A security guard will be killed while delivering an important message. You can hit him once with the crowbar before he is shot, but he will not follow you or shoot at assassins, and you will have to finish killing him to obtain his gun. A crowbar hit will kill him, and he will not drop a gun.

Bash the wooden crates near the security guard for supplies.

Equip your tripmines and quicksave (save your game state).

Place a tripmine just to the left of the doorway in the concrete wall ahead. Crouch before placing it to ensure it is set low.

Back up and position yourself against the right wall, then wait for the assassin who saw you to trigger the tripmine and die. If the assassin glitches through without triggering it, quickrestore (load your last save) and try again.

The other two assassins can potentially be sneak-shot with the crossbow if you are quiet.

Crouch-walk to the tripmine placement spot, turn right, and slowly crouch-walk toward the larger doorway on your right. The second assassin is just past it.

Shoot the second assassin in the leg with the crossbow as soon as possible.

Proceed past her and a brown door. Move carefully toward the next corner, as the final assassin is just past it.

Sneak-shoot the final assassin with the crossbow. The final assassin will always emerge and attack when you sneak-shoot the second one, so use AR grenades to attack her rapidly.

If your health or armor (your protective suit) is below 100, find the recharging stations in the room past the doorway where you set the tripmine.

Do not bash crates or hunt for ammo, as you will not need them until after the ambush and robbery. Bashing crates can yield an armor battery if needed.

Ascend the ramp leading to the raised floor area.

Locate the large lever marked "Surface Access."

Interact with the lever by holding the "Use item" key until it moves all the way to the left.
