Walkthrough
  1. 1
General Strategy Notes: Support your heavy units and then the station. Rotate support between heavies, salvagers, and destroyers to prevent losses.
  2. 2
Method #4 (Medium Difficulty, Max Fleet Gain, ~40 min): Follow the carrier with salvagers at a safe distance. Support salvager corvettes. Use bait salvage corvettes to capture enemy ships. Dock captured corvettes and capture capital ships using Method #1. Support your carrier with support craft, ensuring faster repairs than damage taken. Keep the carrier in evasive mode between defenders and support craft. Move captured frigates away. Use salvage craft to capture up to 50 defenders, docking them in a carrier. Alternatively, use a gravity well to trap defenders.
  3. 3
Method #5 (Bottom Route): Capture or destroy assault frigates. This route leads to facing two destroyers, a heavy cruiser, and multi-gun corvette wings. Capturing the carrier and capital ships is more difficult from this position.
  4. 4
Method #6 (Missile Corvette): Use missile corvettes on evasive to fire at the enemy carrier as it approaches.
  5. 5
Carrier Jump Mechanics: The carrier takes time to jump. It travels close to your fleet before jumping, allowing for extra time if needed.
  6. 6
Carrier Destruction Timing: If the carrier is destroyed before it finishes docking, you will face additional enemy waves. If captured, docked corvettes will undock and attack your salvage craft.
  7. 7
Mission 11: Tenhauser Gate Objectives: Destroy the Taiidan Fleet. This is a sweep mission where fleet and gain maximization is possible.
  8. 8
Mission 11 - Method #1 (Easy Difficulty, No Fleet Gain, Fast Time): Send in attack bombers and support destroyers. Target the cruiser first, then destroyers, and mop up remaining capital ships. Flank to increase damage.
  9. 9
Mission 11 - Method #2 (Hard Difficulty, Max Fleet Gain, Slow Time): Launch salvage corvettes with support craft. Use destroyers/cruisers to bait enemy ships away from the Bentusi ship. Capture enemy ships, prioritizing destroyers, then cruisers, then frigates. Keep an eye on capital ship health. A carrier moved forward can reduce capture queues.
  10. 10
Mission 11 - Method #3 (Medium Difficulty, Max Fleet Gain, Slow Time): Send a lone salvage corvette to target a cruiser. Lure the cruiser to the edge of the map. Send supported salvagers to capture them from behind. Capture simultaneously to prevent them from shooting each other. Some salvage corvettes may be lost.

Tips:

  • If the Bentusi die, it's game over.
  • Losing too many ships can make the next mission difficult; a large fleet is recommended. A fighter wing fleet with at least 3 capital ships is possible.
