Hey there, future space explorer! So, you've been tinkering with rockets, maybe even managed to get a Kerbal into orbit (or at least tried!), and you're wondering how to keep all that hard work safe. Don't worry, saving and loading in KSP2 is pretty straightforward, just like in most games. It's super important to save regularly, especially before you try something risky, so you don't lose progress.

To save your game, you'll typically find an option in the main menu or a pause menu. Just look for a 'Save' or 'Save Game' button. You'll usually be prompted to name your save file, so give it a name that makes sense – maybe the name of your mission or the rocket you're testing. This helps you keep track of different saves if you're working on multiple projects.

When you want to continue playing, just head back to the main menu and look for the 'Load Game' option. You'll see a list of your saved games. Pick the one you want to continue from, and you'll be right back where you left off, ready for your next launch!
