Mini-Boss 26: Sacrifice any current ability to damage the boss initially. This large, hammer-wielding foe has a downward bash that penetrates abilities like Needle. It also throws coconuts that can be inhaled and spit back. When it slams its hammer, stars appear briefly; inhale and spit these at the boss. The Sword ability is also effective if used quickly. Defeating it yields the Hammer ability.

Mini-Boss 27: Spit any current ability at the boss. It drops apples when it flips, which are used for damage. Beware of its triple jump attack and its ground roll attack. It takes 4 hits to defeat. Swallowing it grants the Throw ability.

Mini-Boss 28: Spit any current ability at the boss. The Wheel ability is effective; use its charge to avoid damage and deal some to the boss. If not using Wheel, wait for the boss to release small bugs, inhale them, and shoot them back. It takes 5 hits. Swallowing it grants the BackDrop ability.

Mini-Boss 29: Spit any current ability at the boss for initial damage. Watch out for its running jump attack (which drops stars) and its quick Burning-like attack. It also performs three jumps; avoid being underneath.

Mini-Boss 30: Use the Needle ability by dropping it, sucking it up, and firing it at the boss. The boss attacks by moving, falling, and releasing small tires. Jump over its initial charges. After it releases tires, grab them and throw them at the boss. It takes three tire hits to defeat, or two if the Needle ability was used initially. Swallowing it grants the Wheel ability.
