Walkthrough
- 1Proceed right, grabbing the Fighter ability if desired. Find a Fire enemy in an igloo and eat it. Use Fire or Fighter's Giga Force Blast to break into the igloo, then blast through the floor to find the first [Energy Sphere]. Continue to the door at the end.
- 2Grab the cannon and move right, blasting everything. If you move fast enough, you can destroy the ceiling for a 1-up and other items. Enter the next door.
- 3Use the green, manual cannons. Blast upper-right, then lower-right, then right. Go up into a hidden alcove and up again for the second [Energy Sphere]. Blast right through spiky enemies, then right again. Blast lower-right twice, then to the lower-left cannon to reach a door. Enter it.
- 4Continue right, grabbing the last [Energy Sphere] along the path. You can grab the Mike ability. Pull the rope to open the gate and enter the door.
- 5Proceed onward and fight Gigant Edge. Grab his ability if you want it (it allows you to get the Whip ability and a nearby 1-up). Proceed to the exit.
- 6Move right, being aware that snowmen fall forward. Grab the Ninja ability if desired. Continue to the door and enter it. Go up for food and an extra guy (requires Ninja to get by sticking to the wall and throwing kunai at the rope).
- 7Continue right, grabbing the Fire ability. Reach a cannon and clear a path for a dash. Light the fuse with Fire, run to the cannon, and jump in. Run over the switch and use your Burn attack to get through the gate before it closes, grabbing the first [Energy Sphere]. Exit.
- 8Proceed right and enter the door. Reach the first boot. Make your way to the next boot, crushing gold blocks for food if needed. Hop into the second boot, go through the door behind the gold blocks, and hop across enemies to reach a high platform. Crush your way through, grabbing the second [Energy Sphere] on your way down. Return to where you found the boot, wait for it to explode, hop into the new one, and continue to the door at the end.
- 9Grab the Stone ability and slide down slopes, stopping before pits. If you fall, wait for cannons to fire 3 shots before coming out. Slide to the end and go through the door. Use Stone to pound stakes for food. Select Sword or Beam if desired, then battle Super Bonkers. Grab the Grand Hammer ability he leaves behind. Pound stakes as you go. Destroy jack-in-the-box guys by jumping on them when popped up. Smash giant ones to reveal a star gate and jump into it.
- 10Keep grabbing keys to progress. Slide to break bomb blocks while holding a key. When you reach mini Waddle Dees, either drop your key to inhale/spit them to crush blocks, or slide fast to break them. Reach a cannon to clear bomb blocks, breakable blocks, and large enemies. Keep going until the end, then enter the door. Pick Ninja or Fire. Battle an Electric Sphere Doomer. Swallow one of his projectiles and use Spark on him. After beating him, grab the last two [Energy Spheres] and hop into the star gate. Go right and up the ladder to reach the exit.
Tips
- You cannot melt all ice blocks, even with the Fire ability.
- The orange cannons are uncontrollable and not covered in this guide.
- To get the food and extra guy in Stage 1, Step 6, you need the Ninja ability. Stick to the wall and throw kunai at the rope.
- In Stage 1, Step 9, you can only kill jack-in-the-box guys when they are popped up and you are on top of them. Destroying one takes out the whole group.
