Guide to completing all Gold Rank Akame Network Requests in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, including quest steps, rewards, and strategies.

Once you hit Gold Rank, most of the rest of the Requests will be available.

#11 - End the Destruction

Akame reports of a gorilla man near the construction site in Shofukucho. Head to that spot and you'll engage with him. He's a pretty decent fighter and durable, but only two health bars shouldn't pose too much trouble. After this, head west to find a homeless guy to talk to. Speak to him, then agree to join forces with the detective. You'll go through several scenes, then have a fight with four relatively easy thugs, then you'll fight the detective again. He's got FIVE health bars this time, so you've got a challenge on your hands. Once you win, head to the door at the southeast of Bishamon Bridge. This is a fight with two guys on your side, against nine enemies, including a boss. Defeat them all and the Joryu Clan will receive the assistance of Masaharu Kaito and Toru Higashi.

#21 - Gotta Catch 'em Balls!

This one is simple. Find all seven Gold Balls in the game. You cannot complete this until Chapter 4. The Gold Balls can be obtained by:

  1. Purchasing from Ebisu Pawn for ¥77,777.
  2. Trading in 777 Pool points at Kiss Shot.
  3. Expanding the Akame Shop to the third level and purchasing one for 777 Akame Points.
  4. As a Hidden Item in Sotenbori: Use the Wire on a flexing fellow on the prow of a sightseeing boat going from west to east.
  5. As a Hidden Item in the Castle: Near a weird dance club with spinning platforms, use the Wire on a muscle guy with a sparkle on his pants.
  6. As a Hidden Item in the Castle: Halfway down the stairwell to the Coliseum entry, look straight up in the giant oni statue's skirt and use the Wire.
  7. Completing the Stroll 'n Patrol mission "Solve the Mysterious Note" which only appears in Chapter 4. Speak to the guy on the north side of the river footpath, then find the solution north of the Turtle Hotel in Shofukucho, southeast of the Wild Jackson.

Return to Akame once you have all seven. She'll point you to a back alley near Fukuru. Approach the guy and he'll grant you a wish. The wishes and their rewards are:

  • Wishing for "the peaceful life you once had" is a non-answer and he'll ask you to choose something else.
  • Wishing for "endless riches" gets you ¥1,000,000.
  • Wishing for "eternal life" gets you Nourishment of the Sea King x100.
  • Wishing for "sexy panties" gets you Shen-san's Panties, which can be sold at Ebisu for ¥1,500,000.

#26 - Vanquish the Black Swallowtails

You must complete "Final Showdown: White Knights" for this one. The Swallowtails are a heavily armed gang. Your first fight is near the Coin Lockers with five guys, one a boss with a katana. Subsequent fights include:

  • Near Riichi Towers Mahjong: four dudes, one a boss with a katana.
  • Near Kushikatsu Daruma: four dudes, three with bats and one boss with a hammer.
  • Near Shigano Cigarettes: five dudes, most with pistols, one a boss.

The boss fight afterwards is at Yotsudera Kaikan, on the second floor, with seven guys armed with a variety of weapons, including two guns. Kuroyanagi himself has a knife and is pretty swift with it.

#27 - Final Showdown: Black Swallowtails

This is the finale after "Vanquish the Black Swallowtails". The showdown is at Iwao Bridge, and consists of sixteen foes and the boss. Win to get Keita Kuroyanagi in the Joryu Clan.

#29 - The Golden Scourge

After completing "The Golden Samurai", find him on the street and fight him. He has five health bars and more attack power, but is otherwise the same.

#32 - Reach Platinum Tier

Get the Akame Network to Rank 20 and win three Gold Rank fights in the Coliseum. Go back to Akame to check in.

#33 - Friends in Special Places

Once you reach Gold Rank, Akame will ask you out for drinks. This starts her "Drink Links". To see each of them, you'll have to reach Level 13, 16, and 19 respectively in the Akame Network. You can't do anything else with the Akame Network while one is ready to go. At the fourth trip out, you'll have to fight some dudes: five guys, including a boss.
