Walkthrough
- 1Switch to Lockjaw (a character who can teleport) and clear the room.
- 2Follow the marker on the left side to start a tracking sequence around the room until it stops at a pile of junk.
- 3Press B to find pieces for a dog bowl underneath the junk.
- 4Use the dog bowl with Lockjaw to teleport outside.
- 5Have Lockjaw pull open the green-handled doors.
- 6Have Crystal (a character with elemental powers) use her powers on the nearby generator to lower some stairs.
- 7Climb up and have Crystal use her Heat Beam on the gold connectors of the ice emitters.
- 8Take four members of your team and have them stand on the buttons to open the tank.
- 9Drop down and push the button to remove one of the monitors and drop an elevator with items inside.
- 10Head to the elevator and have Black Bolt use Sonic (hold B and release) on it to knock pieces to the floor.
- 11Drop down and assemble a Tech Panel and use it.
- 12Match the sequence of arrows it gives you to open the door to your right.
- 13Inside, smash the stuff in the push track room to find two sets of pieces to complete the push track.
- 14Push the gray thing in the foreground all the way to the back to reveal a button.
- 15Fly or get launched up to the button and press it.
- 16Head to the right and have Triton (a character who can throw his trident) throw his trident at the socket on the wall near the buzzsaw.
- 17Triton can now use this to launch himself up the poles to the top, avoiding the buzzsaw.
- 18At the top, use tracking to follow a trail to a pile of junk to get pieces for a socket.
- 19Throw your trident at that socket to open the force field at the back.
- 20Head inside and avoid the lasers to reach the button.
- 21Press the button to remove the last lock on the door in the ceiling.
- 22In the next room, take Medusa (a character who can pull things) and have her pull on the plugs on one of Maximus' mech legs.
- 23Once a leg is pulled off, start punching the mech.
- 24Repeat for the other leg.
- 25Step on the buttons to the left and right to raise pylons that redirect power to make Maximus vulnerable.
- 26Pound his mech until it is destroyed.
- 27Switch to Black Bolt and swim around the lasers to get close to Maximus in the gravity ring.
- 28Once you reach the throne, use Sonic to break his toy.
New Characters: Crystal, Lockjaw, Triton, Maximus
Free Play:
- Minikit 1: In the back of the beginning room, blast the silver lock on the door, then use Telekinesis to force the doors apart. Put out all the fires, smash all the stuff, then assemble the canister.
- Minikit 2: In the middle of the large room is a bowl that Lockjaw can use to teleport to a lower area. There's a canister inside the yellow box.
- Minikit 3: Smash five Lockjaw statues. One is in the back of the big room. Another is in the same room as Canister #1, a third is found in the main room on the upper left ledge. A fourth is behind the large door in the middle of the back wall, and the last is inside the open door under the green-laser camera on the right. You don't need to be stealthy to enter; you can shoot inside from long range.
- Minikit 4: In the room with the big push track, enter the Fuse Box and disable it.
- Stan Lee in Peril: Fly up to the top left of the large room and blast the two drones holding Stan captive.
- Character Card (Gorgon): On the right side of the large room is an obvious camera and a door it's guarding. Use Stealth (a mechanic allowing silent movement) to enter and take the card.
- Minikit 5: In the last room with the moving lasers, fly up to the top back and pick up this free-floating canister.
- Minikit 6: Go to the front left of the room and use Medusa to pull down the plug high up on the wall. Have Crystal fly up and charge up the generator.
- Minikit 7: Go to the back right and push the red button. You'll have to step onto the four lights in the same pattern they just lit up. Do this three times.
- Minikit 8: In the front right of the room, smash all the computers to find a Sphere Pad. Hop in and roll it downwards to lower the elevator you arrived on, revealing a canister hidden.
- Minikit 9: There's a vent in the front-left. Pass through it, then use Telekinesis on the machine in the center of this room. What you create will lay a silver egg, so Explode it.
- Minikit 10: This one simply appears in the final section with the anti-gravity and the rotating lasers. Just steer yourself into it as you approach Maximus.
Interlude:
Take Team Black Bolt again and travel to Hala, where you left the Guardians. At the gate to the fortress, beat down the bad guys. After three or so teams, you'll be able to storm the gate.

- Use Lockjaw's teleportation ability to reach lower areas and bypass obstacles.
