Watch the initial cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) and press the triangle button as fast as possible when prompted. You will repeat this sequence three times before Snake passes out.

Once you regain control, check the mirror next to the bed and press the button to have Snake take out a Jigsaw.

When the soldier in front of the door leaves, approach the door and use the Jigsaw to break the lock.

Alternate between the L and R buttons as they flash to unlock the door without making noise. If you alert the guards, the mission will end.

After breaking the lock, stay away from the door and wait for the guard to leave.

Open the door and immediately hide to take care of the soldier patrolling your cell first. You have no equipment, so rely on your sneaking ability and CQC (Close Quarters Combat).

Go west into the hallway. You will find two soldiers: one patrolling up and down, and another stationary near a corner.

As the patrolling soldier moves south, take care of the stationary soldier, then deal with the patrolling one.

Enter the door in the northwest corner of the area to find 3x Ration 5.

Open your map (the small circular map in the bottom-left corner of your screen). You will see three adjacent rooms on the left side of the middle structure.

Go inside the deepest room and use the control panel. Open the door and release the prisoners.

Exit the room and return to the hallway where the two soldiers were. Go to the southwestern corner and enter the small room to find 5x Fulton Recovery System 5.

Move east into the next area and find a Prisoner of War (POW) inside a cell. Open the cell and use the Fulton Recovery System on the POW.

Proceed southeast into the next area. This part is not in this mission.
