Walkthrough

You'll start near the Munoko ya Nioka Station guard post. Your primary objectives are to extract the militants’ XO and the child soldiers’ commander, who are both in the same small area.

Use your binoculars to spot the commander – he's the one with the red beret. The XO is located under a large canopy.

Warning: Don't take too long! More child soldiers will arrive, making the situation much more dangerous.

You can't Fulton extract either of these targets initially because you lack the necessary child extraction upgrade. The XO is also injured and won't survive a Fulton extraction.

Optional Task 3: The escaped prisoner is south of the outpost. You need to be quick, as wild animals will attack and kill him if you delay. Rush to his location and extract him first.

Optional Task 4: To extract 12 child soldiers, it's best to wait until you have the Child upgrade for your Fulton Device.

Optional Task 5: To extract both the XO and the commander simultaneously using a vehicle, tranquilize them first. Then, load them into a four-wheel vehicle (one should be at the outpost, or you can call one in). Drive out of the hot zone. Be careful when Fultoning the vehicle, as the targets can fall out and die.

Optional Task 6: You'll find Digitalis Purpurea plants on a hill west of the outpost. You can reach it by coming from the north. There are three plants; you need to loot all three.

Mother Base Outbreak: After this mission, an outbreak will occur at Mother Base. To contain it, quickly isolate all staff who speak Kikongo into Quarantine. This doesn't guarantee everyone's safety. Keep an eye on anyone in the brig who speaks Kikongo and consider limiting new recruits until the outbreak is over.

Tips

Distract the child guards to safely grab the prisoner and move them before engaging the child soldier leader.
If you need a vehicle and one isn't available at the outpost, call one in from Mother Base.
Be extra cautious when Fultoning a vehicle with passengers, as they can be lost.
