Complete walkthrough for Mission 1: DataDyne Central - Extraction in Perfect Dark (2000). Includes objectives, enemy locations, and strategies to protect Dr. Caroll and reach the helipad.
Walkthrough
- 1Access the Foyer Elevator: Start by equipping Night Vision Goggles. Eliminate the guard behind the desk with a headshot. Find and open a hidden door to the right of the desk, kill the guard inside, and grab ammo. Continue through the area, eliminating guards, until you reach stairs. Kill the guards at the top, ascend the stairs, and enter the elevator to the left.
- 2Defeat Cassandra's Body Guards: As the elevator ascends, disable Night Vision Goggles. Exit the elevator, turn right, and eliminate the guard around the corner. Proceed through the doors and follow the hallway to defeat two of Cassandra's bodyguards. Enter the single door at the end of the hallway and kill another bodyguard. Backtrack to the first elevator (not the one you just used) and ascend one floor. Exit, turn right, and eliminate the helmeted guards around the corner. Enter the door to their left. Navigate the inner office, find and go through a hidden sliding door, then through the next unlocked door to defeat another bodyguard. Proceed through the next door. Ignore the elevator on your left for now; clear the room ahead of any bodyguards. Return to the elevator and use the adjacent door. Ascend the stairs to the next floor. Turn right, kill the guard arguing with scientists, and let the scientists escape. Take the Rocket Launcher. Use the door to your right, take the stairs to the top floor, and go through the steel grate. Eliminate the remaining bodyguards outside.
- 3Rendezvous at the Helipad: Navigate back to the helipad using the ramps. Reaching the helipad completes the mission.
Tips
- Use headshots to quickly dispatch guards.
- Night Vision Goggles are crucial for the initial stealthy approach.
- Shotguns and Rocket Launchers are effective against groups of bodyguards.
