Complete walkthrough for Mission 9 - Skedar Ruins: Battle Shrine (2) in Perfect Dark (2000). Includes objectives: identify temple targets, activate bridge, enter Inner Sanctum, and assassinate Skedar leader.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Identify temple targets: Walk forward and kill the Skedar Monster to your right with the Falcon 2. Equip the R Tracker and look for yellow dots on your radar, which indicate obelisks. Place a Target Tracer on each required obelisk. Navigate the area, killing monsters (including a cloaked one), and find the first obelisk in the middle. Continue through the next opening, kill more monsters, and find another obelisk on the right path after a fork. Place a target amplifier if needed. Return to the fork, take the first right, kill the monster, take another right, kill the two monsters, and find another obelisk. Head towards the other stairs, turn right at the foot to find an opening with another obelisk. Kill the monsters and place a target amplifier if necessary. Once three obelisks are targeted, this objective is complete.
  2. 2
Activate bridge: Leave the obelisk area, go left past the dead monsters, and run to a fork. Go right at the fork. Equip the Devastator and set it to Wall Hugger. Shoot a grenade at the wall behind the monster to your left. Cross the black bridge and go through the opening. If the bridge is missing, fall to the ledge below, kill the monster behind you, and follow the path until the ledges combine. Climb up the wall on the left. Run down the path and hop into the next area, killing any monsters. Go straight until the second left turn, facing a wall. Use the IR Scanner to identify the lighter red wall, indicating it can be destroyed. Use a grenade to blow it open and follow the tunnels. Drop down, go left, and enter the first door on the right. Kill the small monster, then push the movable stone onto the light brown area to activate the bridge and complete this objective.
  3. 3
Enter Inner Sanctum: Cross the newly activated bridge. Leave the room, go right, and follow the path to the bridge. Cross it, equip the IR Scanner, and kill any approaching monsters. Continue until you reach an area with a door to the left and a ramp to the right. Go up the ramp and through the door. Stay at the doorway and kill the two Rocket Launcher-wielding monsters below. Cross the bridge and kill the monster guarding the door. Drop off the right side of the bridge and go to the left of the spinning pillar to find a Skedar cross. Approach it and a prompt will appear. Put away your current weapon (push B) to make a sacrifice, which unlocks the door. Enter the door to complete this objective.
  4. 4
Assassinate Skedar leader: In the next room, defeat the Skedar Army emerging one by one from green capsules. After defeating them, proceed through the next door to the final boss room. To defeat the Skedar leader, first shoot him until his shields turn green. Then, shoot the spikes behind him. He will eventually descend to chase you; evade him and kill any minions he summons. Continue shooting the spikes until only the center one remains. Use the Callisto's rapid-fire function for optimal damage. Destroy the large central spike to defeat the Skedar leader, complete the mission, and beat the game.
Tips
  • Use the R Tracker to locate obelisks efficiently.
  • The Devastator with Wall Hugger setting is effective for destroying enemies from a distance.
  • The IR Scanner is crucial for identifying destructible walls.
  • For the final boss, focus on destroying the spikes behind him when his shields are green, then use the Callisto's rapid fire on the main boss.
