Part 38

Return to the "Aht's Prayer" node. Replace Raynie with Aht and head southeast to confront Heiss again.

STRATEGY: Use the Change command to string together three turns. Push Assault the Shadow, lay a Volt Star Trap, and Grapple them to kill the Shadow. Have Marco cast Magic Rise. Four more of any Star Trap should finish off Heiss.

Defeating Heiss unlocks the "The Sister" node.

After a lengthy scene, you will be back in the Royal Hall (Standard Final Chapter). Recommended Level: 68. Recommended Party: Stocke, Aht, Rosch. Enemies include Dark Jaguar, Floating Stone, Gigas, Hell Bird, Heavy Thaumachine, Mana Storm, Menas, Noble Flame, Prod. Thautomaton, Pure Ice, Rage Thunder, Silent Soul.

Follow the path around. Drag the first barrel in the upper left corner to the right and down to blow away barricades, revealing a chest with the LUMINOUS DRESS (DEF+21/MDF+70/SPD-2) for Eruca.

Drag the second barrel (straight right of the first) to the left and up to blow away rocks, opening the path to the next area.

In the next area, defeat Floating Stones and drag them into holes to create bridges. Use any Star Trap and two Assaults to disable them, then drag them to the nearest hole.

To the right of the start, use barrels to access rocks. Grab the stone to the left and drag it up to fill a hole. Grab the upper stone and drag it right for a chest containing CELESTIAL OIL.

Defeat the nearby stone and drag it left to fill a gap. Take another stone up to fill a gap to the right. Drag a stone to the far right for a chest with SUPERIOR TEA. Use another stone on the nearby gap. In the upper left corner, use the last stone to the left to access a chest with 2 PANACEA PLUS.

In the upper right corner are two barrels. Drag them to the beginning of the area. Use them on the rocks in the upper right corner first for a hidden chest with the SOUL PACT for Stocke. The barrels respawn if you leave and return. A chest in the lower right corner contains a SKY ARMLET (SPD+10). Head to the next area via the upper exit.

Before the boss gauntlet, find two hidden barrels in the lower left corner. Drag one up the middle and left to blow away rocks for a chest with 2 TOURNIQUETS. Drag the other barrel up the middle and right to blow away rocks for a chest with 2 SUPERIOR TEAS.

It is recommended to finish sidequests. Return to the "Gafka & the Scrolls" node to purchase 9 Sky Drops (All resistances +2) and equip them. Rest at an inn and return to "The Three Contracts" node. Teach the last Pacts to Stocke and Aht. Talk to Vainqueur to receive "The Final Trial" sidequest. For the upcoming battles, use Stocke, Eruca, and Marco. Talk to Vainqueur to begin.

STRATEGY: Use the Change command for 6 consecutive turns. Cast Magic Rise, Spin Strike, G-Fire, G-Fire, G-Frost, and G-Frost to defeat it.
