Chairlift

Description: Cars hang from a steel cable which runs continuously from one end of the chairlift to the other end and around large turnaround wheels at each end.

Cost: $1,440 upwards

The Chairlift is a favorite transport ride due to its low cost, ability to be built to great heights, and high speed, making uphill travel easy. Its covered cars eliminate the rain factor. It is the choice transport ride in tough terrain, despite its limited capacity of 24 passengers max.

Miniature Railroad

Description: Narrow-gauge railroad track, with miniature passenger trains.

Cost: $1,300 and upwards

The Miniature Railroad is a slow transport ride, especially uphill, and cannot be built as high as other rides of its type. It lacks covered vehicles until Corkscrew Follies, making it susceptible to rain. Its capacity is its only upside, though still less than the Monorail.

Monorail

Vehicles: Small Monorail Cars (1-5 in a train; 4 passengers per car); Large Monorail Train (2 end cars, between 0 and 6 middle cars; 10 passengers per car)

Description: Track is a box-section steel rail supported on square-section steel posts. Trains are powered, and run along the top of the rail with additional wheels on either side for stability.

Cost: $1,550 and upwards

The Monorail is a highly effective transport ride with covered cars that protect against rain. It has the highest passenger capacity in the game, up to 140 passengers. It also allows for a "shuttle mode" for point-to-point transport without completing a circuit. Its downside is its low maximum height and slow uphill speed.

Suspended Monorail

Cost: $2,400 and upwards

Available in Corkscrew Follies & Loopy Landscapes, the Suspended Monorail can be constructed higher than the standard Monorail and tends to have a higher excitement rating due to being suspended. However, it suffers the same uphill speed flaw as other powered counterparts and appears less frequently in scenarios.
