Kuroki: The Artist Boss Guide

Kuroki, also known as "The Artist," is the boss you'll face in The Museum level of Sifu. She's one of the main antagonists and was involved in the attack on the kwoon that killed your father and his students. In the present day, she runs an art gallery that's a front for organized crime. She also wields the water talisman, which might be the reason for the snowy arena and the illusionary ocean in her second phase.

Phase 1: Sansetsukon

In her first phase, Kuroki uses a sansetsukon, a weapon with blades on both ends. She'll swing it in wide arcs, mixing high and low attacks. She also likes to keep her distance by jumping back. Your best bet here is to wait for an opening between her combos, then quickly close the distance and get some hits in. You'll need to weave between her attacks carefully.

Phase 2: Kunai and Dashes

Kuroki's fighting style changes significantly in her second phase. She switches to a kunai and becomes much more aggressive, charging at you with stabs and kicks. When you're at a distance, she'll throw kunai. If you've learned the right skill, you can catch these and throw them back at her! Watch out for her charging dash move – she can cover the arena almost instantly with it. She might even combine this with a kunai throw or a fake-out dash to catch you off guard. You'll need to be quick and react fast to her attacks.

Detective Board Clues (Speculation)

While not explicitly stated in the game, the art and clues in The Museum suggest Kuroki is dealing with the sorrow of her twin sister's death. Her exhibit focuses on duality, possibly because she sees her twin as a part of herself. * Statues: You'll see statues of two women, one with a sword and one with a kunai.
