Run down the path with brick walls and move out onto Canyon St. You'll encounter Straight-jackets; avoid them.

Your next objective is the Butcher Shop on the south side of Low St. Go east on Cielo Ave., then south on Low St. The entrance is on the east side of the road, northeast of the Low St. and Toluca Ave. intersection.

Collect items along the way: Jagged Wood (north end of Canyon Street), Energy Drink (west side of Canyon Street), Health Drink (near Energy Drink), Health Drink (alley in front of Lumber Yard, northeast end), Jagged Wood (southwest of Cielo and Borden intersection), Energy Drink (east side of Cielo Ave., near south wall), Hammer (northeast of Cielo and Borden intersection), Meat Hook (middle of Cielo Ave., near dumpster and car).

Inside the Butcher Shop (Front Room), save your game and check around the counter for items, including a Meat Hook stuck in a slab of meat.

In the Butcher Shop (Back Room), a cutscene will play. Collect the First Aid Kit (left wall) and Meat Cleaver (stuck in a slab of meat). Exit through the back door.

The next goal is to reach the Cedar Grove Sanitarium in the east. Carrions will now appear; keep your distance.

Travel east on Toluca Ave., then north on Acadia Rd. to find the Sanitarium's entrance gate.

Follow the path, enter the courtyard, navigate past enemies, and enter the Cedar Grove Sanitarium.

Collect items before reaching the Sanitarium: Energy Drink and Target Pistol Ammo (on top of second dumpster in alley east of Butcher Shop), Parking Ticket file (on hood of car north of Toluca and Borden intersection), Crate (behind brick wall on dumpster, north side of Toluca Ave.), Jagged Wood (near trash cans east of Crate), Wrench and Health Drink (on hood of car across from Sanitarium entrance on Acadia Rd.), Target Pistol Ammo (near tree in north middle of Sanitarium Courtyard), Alcohol Bottle (on window seal on north portion of Sanitarium building).
