    First Floor Middle Lobby: Enter the lobby and pick up the 'Magpie' Note file under the door to the Doctor's Office (left door ahead). The Doctor's Office is currently locked.

    West Solarium: Enter the West Solarium (left door from the lobby). Collect two Target Pistol Ammo pickups and the ++TARGET PISTOL++ from the chair with the doll. Return to the lobby.

    East Solarium: Enter the East Solarium (right door from the lobby). Pick up the [SANITARIUM MAP] on the table to the right and the [STATUS REPORT, 3/12/1960] file from the desk in the northeast corner. Exit through the door on the opposite side of the wall from where you entered.

    First Floor East Corridor Outside East Staircase: A cutscene will play. Enter the south storage room to the north. A Drip Stand is located next to the Laundry Room.

    Storage (First Floor): Collect items from the shelves. Exit back to the corridor and open the door to the east staircase.

    East Staircase: Save your game at the red triangle save point. Collect Target Pistol Ammo and a Wrench from the basement floor (on a chair and near a wooden column). The basement door is locked. Head up the stairs and open the second-floor door.

    Second Floor West Corridor Outside West Staircase: You will hear footsteps. A Remnant enemy is ahead. These enemies lunge forward; dodge their attack, then rush in to attack as they recover. Repeat this pattern. They can be killed with 6 shots from the target pistol. Avoid fighting them in pairs. Enter the Storage Room to the north.

    Second Floor Storage: Collect items from the shelves, including Shotgun Ammo. Exit this room and enter the Second Floor Lobby.

    Second Floor Lobby: Avoid fighting the Nurses as they will swarm you. The Archives door to the north is locked. Run past the Nurses and enter the T.B. Ward to the west.

    TB Ward: Pick up the [IRON LUNG WARNING] file from the side of the iron lung machine on the east side of the room.

    Iron Lung Puzzle: Examine the iron lung panel where the file was. Adjust the pressure of the iron lung machine to overload it. The puzzle can be solved through trial and error by pressing the valves.
