Walkthrough

    From the start, turn around and go through the spike traps. Drop off the end and find a Treasure Chest on the left.

    Bounce back up and go through the spikes again.

    Drop down a small ledge to stop yourself from going back. Stand on the glowing button in the block puzzle area.

    Push the right block as far as it will go. Bounce up onto it and press the button on the side.

    Press the new button on the floor. Continue pushing blocks to reach the last button on the side.

    Do not jump off the side. Push the middle block of the three off to the left and down.

    Follow it down. Push the stack of two blocks to the right, go up the ramp, and push the top block forward until it falls into a hole.

    You should now be able to reach Tree Rex's Soul Gem, "Woodpecker Pal".

    Go right and onto the circular lift to exit the area.

Mincemeat Mayhem Arena:

  1. Round 1: Fight waves of Chompies, Grenade Generals, and Mohawk Cyclopses.
  2. Round 2: Avoid the sawblade around the arena edge (it also damages enemies). Fight more Mohawks and Slobbering Muticuses.
  3. Round 3: Avoid the razorsaw in the central area. Fight Grenade Generals, Mohawks, Chompies, and Blaze Brewers.
  4. Boss Fight: Attack Pipsqueak briefly, then focus on the Shadow Duke. Dodge its sword slam attack and defeat it. You can ignore other enemies.

Cap'n Flynn's Ship:

  1. Brock has the third and final Battle Arena. Winning all seven arenas earns a new charm.
  2. Talk to Barnsy to proceed.

Chapter 13: The Oracle

You must pass the Oracle's Trials. The goals are: Cleared in Under 05:25, Enemy Goal 50, All Areas Found 14, and No Lives Lost. Collectibles include a Soul Gem, Legendary Treasure, 2 Hats, 4 Treasure Chests, a Story Scroll, a Winged Sapphire, and a Luck-O-Tron Wheel.

You have choices that affect later paths. You cannot collect everything in one go.

Trial of Courage: Spiders

  1. This trial introduces Spiderlings and Gargantulas.
  2. Destroy the spawning pods to stop Spiderlings.
  3. Defeat the Gargantula in the middle by avoiding its web shot that reels you in.
  4. Kill the two Jawbreakers on the left.
  5. After defeating all enemies, collect the Winged Sapphire on the left and go through the teleporter.

Trial of Courage: Chompies

  1. Drop off the left side of the top area to find the Luck-O-Tron Wheel of Wealth.
  2. Defeat all enemies, including Chompy Bots.
  3. Teleport out at the bottom.

Octavius' Lair

This is the choice for the Trial of Heart. Choosing 'Big Fish' leads to Element and Knowledge trials. Choosing 'Little Fish' leads to other trials.
