Enter the second tunnel to find and catch the other Key Thief (A), obtaining a key.

Exit the tunnel and run to Gnasty Gnorc's platform. The key will lower it for you.

Chase Gnasty Gnorc as he runs away. Charge-jumping can help maintain speed.

Be mindful of the track's twists and turns, including a near 180-degree turn at the start. Gems are available but can be collected later.

Jump down steps to conserve speed when descending. Staying close to Gnasty can help, but is more for experienced players.

Watch out for the edges of the track. Falling off will instantly kill you, requiring you to re-catch thieves if you die. Stay to the right of left edges, to the left of right edges, and in the middle if edges are on both sides. Cutting corners does not help.

Navigate two 180-degree turns without edges.

Continue around the remaining turns to reach the end of the track. If Gnasty is not there, you were too slow; jump off the far edge and retry.

If Gnasty is on the final platform, circle him closely. He will attempt to squash you with his sceptre.

After he attacks, stop circling and jump in to flame him to obtain a pink gem.

Gnasty will run down a second tunnel. Before proceeding, go around the track again to collect all 204 gems, bringing your total to 400 gems for the level.

Slowly enter the second tunnel and observe platforms emerging from walls above lava.

As soon as you land, Gnasty will run off and the platforms will retract. Predict your jumps: jump to adjacent platforms and glide to non-adjacent ones. Avoid unnecessary glides and drop during glides to maintain speed.

Do not bump into walls, as this will slow you down and may push you over the edge.

At the end, on the last couple of platforms, Gnasty will fire energy balls. Use the circling strategy again to get in a second flame attack.

After defeating Gnasty Gnorc, he will drop the last 100 gems of the level. Spyro will say, "You're toast, Gnorc!".

You will exit automatically, and the first ending cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) will play, featuring an interview with Spyro.

You will start on a ledge in acid with free flight enabled. The flight height is limited by an invisible barrier.

Fly ahead to the next piece of land and then left to jump up steps above the invisible barrier to raise it.

Find the first Key Thief (A) running around a small building. Use charge-jump to catch it and collect 40 gems.

From the gems, go diagonally to chests containing 55 gems.

Go clockwise around the edge of the area to find pink-topped chests.

Fly over the gap between platforms to the smallest one and collect 50 loose gems and gold/pink-topped chests.

Use the key obtained earlier on the door here.

Inside, collect 50 gems from wooden chests.

Jump up the steps to raise the barrier further.
