Alright, let's talk about Ty Thorsen, or 'Lucky' as some folks call him. This dude's from Tromso, Norway, basically the Arctic's backyard. He's been shredding since he was a little grom, and he's got this awesome, fearless attitude that makes him perfect for backcountry riding. He's not really into the whole competition scene, but his skills are so insane that Zoe Payne herself recruited him for her new team. It was a no-brainer for him to join!

Ty's gig before joining the team was pretty cool: he was a test rider for 'The Tour.' Basically, he'd set up the boardercross and big-air courses, then ride them himself to make sure everything was safe and up to snuff before the pros hit them. Imagine getting paid to just ride amazing runs all day – sounds pretty sweet, right?

His dad was a helicopter pilot, flying people into the super remote Lyngen Alps. Ty spent tons of time up there, honing his skills on some of the most untouched terrain out there. All the best riders in the world would come to the Lyngen Alps, and Ty learned from the best. He loves snowboarding, but it's more about the connection with the mountain for him, not the pressure of competing. That's why joining Zoe's team was such a perfect fit – all the riding, none of the stress!
