Explore the Mesablanca track in SSX Tricky with this guide to all the shortcuts, including secret paths, rail grinds, and jumps to shave time off your runs.

This guide details the shortcuts on the Mesablanca track in SSX Tricky. Many of these were present in the original SSX and offer significant time advantages.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
At the start, a red sign on the left leads to cable/billboard grinds and shortcut #3. A blue sign on the right goes under stands and rejoins the main track.
  2. 2
After the second jump, a cable grind to the right crosses billboards and leads to the first checkpoint. After the moving platforms, a ramp to the right allows access to the next shortcut by boosting onto it from the top of the hill.
  3. 3
Riding the rails or the ramp from step 2 leads to a twisting ice path above the track. A long jump at the end lands you at the start of shortcut #4.
  4. 4
Directly past shortcut #1 (from the start), a path to the right of the normal track, framed by a wooden fence, requires breaking a wooden board. This path splits: the high route has jumps and a long ramp back to the track; the low path has more short platforms and requires grinding one of two branches to rejoin the main course. Both are faster than the regular track.
  5. 5
If you skipped step 4, SSX signs on turn embankments on the regular track can be broken through. The second sign allows access to a series of branch grinds back across an embankment.
  6. 6
In the section with platform jumps and rails, ice paths on either side lead to rail grinds (from the first SSX). Separately, a small cable grind to the right at the beginning leads up to the crowd stands, bypassing this entire area.
  7. 7
At the end of the path from step 6, a red SSX sign to the left leads to the old SSX path. This path offers a regular straight or a red sign to the left leading to a forest and a large jump to shortcut #9.
  8. 8
If you ignored the red SSX sign at step 7, you go through a small cave and rejoin the normal track. This leads to an ice path with many small jumps. Numerous shortcuts can be found by grinding branches against hills or cutting embankments.
  9. 9
Shortcut #9 is the fastest way. It involves a series of steep cliff jumps over the ice path from step 8. After three jumps, you can either return to the main ice path or grind branches to continue the shortcut, which leads to the main path at the steep drop by the checkpoint.
  10. 10
Directly past the drop in step 9, a red SSX sign to the right leads to a snowy plain. Jumping at the end of this plain leads to shortcut #11. Not jumping rejoins the normal track.
  11. 11
Shortcut #11 can be reached from the lower track. To the left of the next section is a large tunnel leading to the halfpipe. A cable at the end of this tunnel leads to the next shortcut.
  12. 12
On either side of the ice-halfpipe with glass barriers, cable grinds can bypass the entire halfpipe.
  13. 13
This is not a formal shortcut but a very good one. Skiing towards the sign in the middle of the horizontal loop-de-loop allows you to jump through the base of the sign, clearing the entire loop. This requires practice.

There are no further formal shortcuts on the Mesablanca track. Race to the finish line.
