Immediately after starting, break through the SSX sign and catch the rail over the next building, crashing through a dome. Continue straight.

Use boost to fly off the upturned rail onto a building's roof, crashing through the skylight. After a few rooftop jumps, you'll reach the main path.

Descend a few hills to a split path with a building featuring a grey double door. Crash through the door and the adjoining area. Fly to the next building, avoiding exhaust fans. Boost and jump to the next building, then cut right and jump through a narrow space between buildings. This leads to another red SSX sign that guides you through more buildings back to the main path.

After several split turns, you can pass through narrow towers; this is not a significant shortcut but can help.

Look for a giant billboard of Seeiah on the left. Cutting by it leads to a steep, narrow downhill shortcut between buildings, near another giant billboard of Kaori.

You have two choices: another shortcut between buildings (marked by a flashing police car) or continuing on the main path to another red SSX sign, which is the parking garage shortcut. Go to the lowest level and to the end of the garage for two shortcuts.

The shortcut on the left leads to an upturned rail that connects to a hovering UFO. Boosting and hitting the UFO's light transports you to a snowy forest area near a bridge.

The shortcut on the right involves catching the first rail at the end, then the next, leading inside to a low-roofed area. Slow down on the second rail. Complete this section to the next roof and find an adjoining roof to leap onto. This leads to another rail, then a building, followed by a leap to a building top with a split rail. Taking this rail lets you fly off a rooftop with a blimp, landing on an ice river that leads to a fan shortcut past the bridge.

There is a very hard-to-access sewer tunnel on the left fork before the icy half-pipe section. It's a large concrete cylinder sticking up from the snow with a wooden cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects). Jumping correctly allows you to clear the lip and drop through, breaking the cover and leading into the ice river.

Directly after shortcut #8, a large ice tunnel leads back to the normal track. Above this is a large indoor "food court" area, accessed by jumping from a small ramp (without paint) and flying up. Ski through tables and chairs, then downhill indoors. Aim for the white "beam" on the glass in the middle of the track; breaking through leads to a rail grind to the next building. Grinding this rail leads to another indoor office section. Ski left to avoid cubicles. Breaking through the glass here offers two choices: 1) Boost off the building back to the main track, or 2) Slow down before breaking through and grind the rail on the right corner to access the ice river shortcut.

After skiing down the ice river, break through a brick wall into a sewer tunnel with large fans. This section leads out underneath the overpass jumps. Skiing around the side of the last glass ramp back to the normal track leads to the sewer shortcut from the first SSX.

The subway connection is back and easier to access. It's behind the final glass ramp leading back to the main track from the lower snowy area beneath the overpasses. Ski behind the last ramp and break through a brick wall into the tunnel. Slow down when you see the subways.

On the upper level (going up the glass ramp under the overpasses), an opening between buildings (marked by red trash dumpsters) allows you to drop directly onto the lower level near the finish line.

Continuing on the normal path past shortcut #13, there is a glass and concrete wall. Above this wall is a hard-to-see pipe. Jump onto this pipe, landing sideways if possible. This rail leads through a dome for style points.

To the right of the glass and concrete walls is a path that leads down, easily missed as the ice blends with fog. This shortcut passes parked subways and leads directly beneath the highway overpass, offering a quick run to the finish line.
